Calhanoglu, Barella, Theo, Kvara, Bremer. I rate Lautaro like Leao, can be great but is too inconsistent.

Are we talking about the period Ballon d'Or is based on or we are referring to 24/25 season?
Cause he was the BEST Serie A player last season, lol guys come on.

If we are not talking about performance, but player quality then:

Lautaro is way ahead of Leao and Theo even on the worst days, also putting Bremer on top of Lautaro is weird, Bremer is good, but not to a game changing degree, also Bastoni is better than Bremer tbh, but I cannot say for our other defenders.

Not agreeing or opposing on whether Kvara or Barella is better or not

Barella > Hakan for me if we have to rate.

Lautaro for sure is a lot lot harder to replace than Hakan.

Okay that's a good list but I wouldn't put Theo there, dude has been inconsistent as fuck, unless you are that milan fan from IFTV podcast.

As notforme said, balon d'or is supposed to be for last year's performance and there's no justification can be given that he wasn't the best serie a player last year. He's been banging 20+ goals consistently in the past 3 years, I'm pretty sure he'll hit 20+ goals as well this season.

Or in the second half of the season :D

He's surrounded by players who had some great runs in the CL. He's done well to get 7th tbh.
He scored 24 goals in A and won the capocannoniere award. Let's not start splitting hairs who did what in what parts of the season. He was there when it mattered, last meaningful goal was against Atalanta which was at the part of the season when we practically sealed the season. In the league he was there for Inter when it mattered and in Copa America he was there as hell when it mattered for Argentina.

His speech was lame and cringe though 😂 his placement on that list was absolutely fair. Heck I think the ballon d’or is ass anyway.

Lautaro can barely juggle a football and works for about 5 months of the year. one of the biggest hacks of the modern era

But he wasnt there in the CL, yet again.

My point isnt that he's a bad player or anything, but if you look at the company around him in the Ballon, he's done well.

Hell, ahead of Harry Kane - who scored 4x as many CL goals as Lautaro did, and 17 more goals for the season? That's flattering tbh.

As we already know with previous Ballon d'Or editions it rarely is about individual quality unless your name is Lionel Messi. It's about club and country achievements (and how marketable you are but let's not go there). Lautaro was ahead of Kane because Kane won nothing. So it was more or less expected.

I forgot Lookman, Koop. Also Leao when is on fire I would take him over Lautaro on his best day. He should've been thankfull being amongst top 10 in the world.

Hopefully this dry spell is your last seasons dry spell in the second half of the season. And you will actually start scoring and reaching at least mid 20s goals by the end of this season.

Don't have one.
The problem isn't a dry spell or lack of goals, the problem is he plays like shit. His biggest strength as a player was never that he was a brutal goalscorer, it was his tenacity, the pressure he was putting on defenders, constant running... He now plays like he has weights on his back. As long as we don't get that player, we are being robbed in broad daylight by the salary he gets.

I trust him. He might not score as many as last season, but I know this guy will be top3 goalscorer for Inter.

More like top 1. This thing has happened before. Despite his dry spells he always ends up our top scorer. At worst he will end up with around 20 goals as usual. After his strong start in the season, Thuram has had a dry spell himself right now. Lautaro is just two goals away from Thuram in the league.
