Marotta or Zanetti should give a statement and announce contract negotiations/renewal. We need good atmosphere around the team.
He seems to have decided to leave. His poor performance in the last five matches seems to be intentional. If he wants to leave should be allowed to leave if the right cash offer arrives.

Man if he wants to leave so be but lets not make it easy for barca and lets try to keep him focused on this season.

Except for renewing his contract we did a lot for this kid and he really only earned it in october.
Not saying we should not try to convince him to stay but if he s set on leaving and we get 110+mios i m fine with that.

Barcelona came in August and told us that they want Lautaro next season.

We did nothing to stop that.
How can inter stop someone from wanting a player?

Lautaro has been pretty hush when asked about his future. I'm paying for the team I'm working hard, I dont know what the future holds blah blah. Players as valuable as lautaro decide their own fate.

If we got certain players plus cash for him.
It is very understandable that we will trade him.
The management probably also eyes some new youngster advised by zanetti to replace him

There are no indications it has gone like brehme said. It might have gone that we've initiated renewal talks but Lautaro side wants to have those after the season.

Back in August he couldnt command what he could now so it would have been tough to bargain. But i dont think any offer wouldve suited him so long as Barcelona were advancing.

My prediction is still that their side want to wait for the season's end. They have the offers tabled and then can show them to Marotta what is offered elsewhere. If Barcelona offers let's say 12m+€ salary, I can kind of understand if Marotta wants to sell. If they offer him let's say 8m€, I would match that and pay it to Lautaro instantly.

Francesc Aguilar, Mundo Deportivo editor, reported Barcelona have offered to Lautaro a salary similar to the one of Griezmann. Griezmann earns 17m/season. If it's true, then i don't think we can offer anything close to that.

Nah, same guy predicted Neymars return. Barca could get Werner or Maxi Gomez for half the price of Toro, I wouldn't be worried just yet.

Please remind me why we don't put stupid clauses like 300 million on our players again? 110 million would have stupid 10 years ago. Now it's a reality.

Sounds like a complete BS. But if true, we simply cannot afford such salaries so then it comes to Barcelona trying to buy Lautaro for less than the release clause or including some other players to the deal and it becomes a lot more difficult then.

Let's just hope it's all BS and we will sign him after the season (or even during). Lautaro is a player a club can build it's future on.

That's not what he posted, he spoke about one of the paths to his signing involving a fee more or less that of (120M) Griezmann, not salary...the others involved cash + players but that Inter are only interested in the fee. Vidal is being discussed but as a separate deal

That's what he posted:

Lautaro Martínez ya sabe incluso, vía su entorno, lo que cobraría como jugador del Barça. Una pista, sería igual, poco más o menos lo que percibe Antoine Griezmann, dependiendo de los variables de uno y otro.

Maybe you're right, but if you read the responses under his tweet I am not the only one who thought he's talking about the salary. It depends on how you interpret it.

He'll never be a 130mil guy anywhere outside of Barcelona where he can potentially win scoring titles.

Hes very balanced player, but he doesnt play out wide, cant really dribble past defenders, doesnt have a particularly great shot, and his passing is on and off. Physicality has improved tremendously, but sells himself short by going to ground and looking for contact. The story this season for us and seemingly forever, has been depth. With Lautaro bringing 130 mil along with other sales, we can build a war machine. He will be tough to replace, but we need 15-20 goals from a striker and I'm sure we can find it elsewhere.
