I like Lautaro and I think that he's one of Inter's core players, but there's something about him that doesn't make him as irreplaceable as Skriniar. If Inter can milk any English club for a ridiculous fee, then I'll share his flight ticket price with ElDuccio.

"Tottenham" is set to negotiate with Inter about the transfer of the attacker Lautaro Martinez because of the reluctance of the Milan club to sell the player, according to the journalist Alfredo Pedulla.
According to the source, the Londoners will send the first official offer in the amount of 90 million euros in the near future.
"Inter" is confident that it will be possible to save the 24-year-old footballer, who has stated his intention to continue his career in Italy. The decision of the management did not affect the signing of Paulo Dybali and Romelu Lukaku. The clause in Lautaro's official contract is 105 million euros.
Spurs head coach Antonio Conte was the initiator of the transfer of the Argentine.
In the season 2021/22 Lautaro scored 21 goals and made 3 assists in 35 Serie A games.

Don't have one.
I'm all for selling him for those numbers, but who do you bring who can guarantee you at least 15 goals a season and most importantly reliability of never getting injured and being always fit. Mercato for strikers is piss poor...

Brambati, who spoke on the frequencies of TMW Radio, spoke of the possibility of transferring Lautaro Martinez to Tottenham, revealing a background with Antonio Conte's deputy.
BACKSCENE - Massimo Brambati, former Juventus player, talks about the possibility of selling the Argentine forward to Tottenham: "Lautaro Martinez to Tottenham? I am not aware of it. I went to dinner with Conte's second and he told me that in front of them they are very happy. Son was the top scorer, there is Kane and then Kulusevski. If something were to be exploited and Kane had to be moved for his needs, then anything can be. For me, Inter have the Skriniar question, which he has offers, and perhaps another one to sell. However, it depends on the requests that one has ».

if really someone would offer 90M for Lautaro i would buy him the ticket for the flight... that will never happen.

I mean if we sell a striker every season for 80-90 million we will be out of the red in no time. People are mad about the transfers and hope the amounts are as high as people are saying but this fking club needs to learn how to sell.

Lautaro is a good striker.... but come on 90 million haha no way. (hopefully he comes back in 2023 on loan as well with lower wages)

Dude, somehow I doubt it, but we'll see. So many different rumours about Inter players, I really believe somebody will get sold, but Lautaro for 100mil is a bit of a stretch.

I've settled on wanting Lautaro to be the sacrificial lamb. We keep the fan favourites (Barella, Bastoni, Skriniar, etc.), receive +100m in transfers for the second year in a row, replace him with Lukaku and Dybala for at least 2 years, then when finances are hopefully better we can look for another quality striker in Europe or South America.

The short-term negatives of selling him are how Lukaku would play without him, as well as missing a striker that does Lautaro's dirty work when he's off the ball. But those are much better issues to have than the ones that would come with selling Skriniar, Bastoni, Dumfries, etc.

Conte playing a front 2 with Son behind Kane and Lauti? That has to be what he's thinking because neither Kane or Lautaro have the speed to play off the wing. I don't see him spending that much for a vice Kane.

I'm sure Martin Satriano can play better than Lautaro. Lautaro is just a bottom, he's not a finisher, not fast, can't play the second floor, has no long-range shot, no good passer, not a dribbler, not smart, building a project around him is just fucked up.

I’m also of the opinion if there is to be a massive sacrifice (Barella, Bastoni, Skriniar, Lautaro), I would rather it be Lautaro.

He can fetch the most money and is the most replaceable imo. I won’t deny he’s one of the best in world football when on form and can even get better, but we’re in a shit storm.
