he lacks composure and calmness. Soon as he's facing the goal, he gets a sudden rush of blood to the head and just wacks it.
We all make mistakes in the heat of passion

Could his finishing improve? Obivously.
Is he still a good finisher? Yes.

Lautaro may not be as clinical as elite strikers of the European leagues but then again, not even these elite strikers were as clinical as Icardi was on his best with us.

As long as you create chances and get involved in them, eventually you will get there. I was kinda skeptic on Lautaro before a while ago but he proved that he has a great character and everything what it takes to be a top quality striker for us and carry the team forward.

Maybe you are right.

I accepted the fact but have little hope that he will increase his conversion rate. If this happens, warrior like him with 30 goals per season will be absolutely monstrous.

But first he needs a proper partner.

Yes and no he does but i feel like it always happens when he has not scored for a game or two....
He then tends to be over eager to score one and makes more rushed/bad decisions.

Dont think he misses an unusual amount of easy chances when generally in form.

Lauti is good at staying focused and playing instinctually in the moment. But when he has too much time to think, he has a tendency to lose his cool and hesitate.

It's been said to death I think, but if Lauti could be composed and finish consistently, he'd be a 30+ goal machine. And if that were the case, he would not be playing for Inter right now.

I'll take him, for all his flaws. I think he's on an improving trajectory, but he'll always be streaky. I just hope it becomes "scores in 6 in a row, stop for 3", rather than the current "scores for 5 in a row, stops for 8".

Crazy good this game again. I was worried when he wanted to take the penalty but oh well.

He was single handendly carrying the attack major time, until Dzeko came in but then he was almost gassed out. Such a fantastic player and above all, a great person. Gotta love how he's humble and hard working in every match, no matter if he scores or not.

The pass that put Dimarco through on goal was Riquelme-esque. Really impressed by his overall participation in buil up lately. Same thing against Salernitana, he made a pass that put Dumfries through that only he saw.

Absolutely brilliant yesterday, really carried the team forward for much of the match. Easily MOTM for me. Hopefully this was a break through moment, and Lautaro becomes a "superstar".

Why must everything be about Marotta? You need professional help.

Lautaro was AMAZING. Only Skriniar, Barella and Lautaro have the world class grinta at the moment that make our team rack up points.

It's more likely ownership and maybe even management will be gone by January than Lautaro.

That's also what I'm hoping for but despite interest, I'm inclined to believe that we won't have a change until April/May and the World Cup will be used to liquidate some of our players.

I have the feeling this guy enters the next level in terms of development to become a complete forward. Really interesting to see how he's going to perform in the WC. If he plays good we have ourself a new global star. He seems to improve every aspect in his game and he is still 25 so there is a lot of time left. It seems this guys ceiling is way higher than we all hoped for.
