Couple of things:

1- Moratti is Inter....how can you say that he sucks? He gives his life to inter, I am very gratefull for that.
2- I know benitez cant kick the ball in himself, but come on...this team runs around the field like chickens without heads...he has to organize and bring some damn discipline! Everybody is just doing something they like...
on paper the tactics may be: 4 2 3 1 but seeing them play its more like 3-1-2-1-1-1-1
He has to get his act together and make the players work hard...this looks like crap...
3- I hope we dont spend foolish in the winter break...id rather spend 30 million on 1 world class player then 3x 10 million for regular players..

For those who say it's not Benitez' fault, well part of being a manger is motivating the fucking players. If the players aren't willing to run for you then there's a problem with yourself and not the players. The current string of results reminds me of pre calciopoli when Inter was nothing more than a slightly above average team. All the work that Mourinho did and the struggle he had to go through to change the team's mentality has gone down the drain in a space of less than 6 months. Yes it is Moratti's fault for not buying any players but with our current team we ought to still beat Lecce and Brescia, no excuses.

The team is not getting any better at all, either they don't trust the manager and won't sacrifice for him, or they don't do any training and have no game plan going into the game, or they just completely have no drive anymore but there is a huge flaw in the team. I don't care what people say Benitez is not the tactician we all though he would be, when he inserted Deki he could have removed Cordoba and moved Zanetti into LB that way although Biabiany, who is definitely not inter material, wasn't playing at his best he is still more dangerous than having to bring in Mancini later into the game, also we would have had Deki, Coutinho and everybody else pretty much playing in their most favored position.

The team definitely lacks a purpose, you can mask this as much as possible but at the end of the day the way we play has been shit. With Jose although we did have some shitty games we were always sound as a team, we had a great defense that feared nothing most games and we just had to refine our attacking play which took time to gel. However, what I see now is a team that is completely lost on the field having to defend against Lecce for most of the match and having no idea how to move the ball forward in order to get it into dangerous positions, add to that our strong defense has completely gone to shit.

I will not lie, ever since I've been a poster in this group this is probably the first pessimistic post that I have, but I'll be honest when I say for the first time since 2005 I'm actually worried that we have completely lost track of what is needed to win the title.

I couldnt agree more!
like you digged in my head hahaha
But yeah, you're right...I hope we get back on track...
the thing that concerns me most is the lack of motivation....
last year people were running the asses out! giving everything they have...now they just "show up at work"

I hope that we get the right mental state again..

At least he tried a couple of changes this game kudos to him, I had a feeling he would call up Mancini sooner or later. Still the rot shows no sign of stopping and if we lose the derby our title chances could be done and dusted before even Christmas.

And it's their task to not allow a situation where a kick is needed, happen.

I'm out of here. Maybe some day I'll do a mix-up of many forum members and their nice posts about our God (2010, but not 2009) Jose. Maybe this will give them some perspective.

Haha yeah, be a crybaby and run away. And do what you do best, which is your hindsight notions from the past.

Let's not compare Benitez to Mourinho. Let's just analyze what has Benitez done and what were the expectations. Or can't we do that yet?

Guys lets all stick together....I know some of us are angry, sad or dissapointed...and some of us ( myself also) sometimes react with fury and anger.
We dont always mean what we say...Deep down inside we all love Inter. For the beauty's and also the flaws of it.
Nobody or nothing is perfect.( especially not benitez hahah :p kiddn) We have to keep our faith and hope.
Just like every mental cycle in life, we're having a dip right now...Maybe these bad results are exactly what we need....the players have to realize that they are letting the fans, and also themselfs down.

Hope, faith and love...

Rafa has to shoulder some of the blame here for sure. In contrast to Mou's games when we played like shit, the general intuition is that we were playing at approximately 70-80% of our strength. When the game needs to be won, we would always step up a gear and play at 100-110%. There were so many games when we won the game at the death or near the final whistle.

Today, for Rafa's team, it seems that the players are trying 100% in terms of effort right from the start. And the game begins to fade after the 20 min mark with absolutely no ability to step up a further gear. Players sprinting and running at 100% but getting none of the ball. Players behaving like headless chickens. Come on Rafa, you can do better than that. This is Lecce and Brescia. Your track record of league titles is beginning to worry me.

What the hell is wrong with you people? Yes Inter inconsistency might cost them everything this year. Hell, we are not in the degradation zone are we? We're still in top 5. People can diss whoever is in charge of the team. Let it be Rafa or even MM. But cmon. Lets be real here. This is what we called a CYCLE. We cannot expect an easy turn every time can we? Sure we won the Treble last season. But let past be past now. Sure its also true that we cannot possibly move forward without looking at the past. But to stuck in the shadow of the past? WE ARE NOT MOVING FORWARD.

As for Rafa... Yes i do "hate" him in a way. Sometimes I just felt that he doesnt know what he's doing with the team. But cmon, would it be fair to blame everything solely on him? really? that sounds fair to you? Instead of blaming him, why dont we give them the support that he needs? But at the same theres always to sides to a story. So im not gonna even try to blame anyone or defend anyone in here.

Yes i know like in the movies.. when some bad shit happens, someone has to go to jail. A scape goat. But really?
A couple of things

1. Rafa is not a "good" manager for Inter. This we all know. But he is NOW the manager nonetheless. SUCK IT UP!
2. MM, Branca all those "backdrapes" people know what theyre doing. We got some bad signings over the year. But yet, we won the treble last year and consecutive scudettos. So i think we were and are doing fine. The positive outcome outweigh everything.
3. People says motivation. I agree. Like in this game, there were no coordination and they were like alone in the filed rather than be a part and involved with the whole group. There was one "Scene" that quite caught my attention. It was on the last minutes before injury time, the ball was out, Etoo was about to throw in and he smiles. NOBODY WAS THERE BESIDES COUTINHO. PLAYERS NEED TO WAKE UP! This is a 2-way street. Although the changes is drastic from Mou to Rafa in terms of EVERYTHING, PLAYERS NEED TO WAKE UP! and RAFA NEEDS TO STEP UP HIS GAME!!

3,4.
Biabiany,Coutinho and especially fucking Pandev were disgraceful for us,so we played only with 7/8 players on the field.
Milito is coming back slowly but still too far from his standard. Good defensive work for Obi but without 5 midfielders we lost our creativity, and this is the result.

I don't really want to say anything about this game, since I watched on a shitty stream... but things aren't looking good. Hopefully we can recover a few more players and kick Milan's ass on the weekend.

Haha yeah, be a crybaby and run away.
:cry::cry::cry:

I'm running away from the people spoiled by success, not from a problem. (fortunetly there are still some people here who are not spoiled by success)

Is Rafa guilty of people not being able to convert ? We had more from the game today, and we SHOULD have won. Is this also Benitez problem, that Pandev can fuckup from 1 meter from the goal ?

This is the same thing I've already lived through, and that's why I "run". Fans are too often, like Jose called (reportes) "resultatistas". It's all about result. You can have 50 chances and loose and some people will blame the coach and will complain, but when you have 1 and win the game playing ugly, people, will complain but the result will still get to them and make them satisfied. Result is important, but the END result, not every result. Same thing after Man Utd games. Some of us weren't blind and could get good things out of the tie, some just focused on the result.

There are 2 groups of people here. One that acknolodges Benitez fuckups this season, but at the same time ain't blind (consideres surrounding circumstances), and the other who acknolodges Benitez fuckups and is blind.

Pretty simple.

I wish the problems we have will go away, and I wish Massimo spends well in the january and in the summer. Cause then I'm very confident Rafa will deliver (not that he can't deliver now), and we'll play much better. And if we'll win something big again, I will have a great field day, quoting all those posts I'm reading recently.

Just like someone quoted back in a day all the people who were calling buying Ibrahimovic from Juve the worst mistake ever, and then had to take it all back after 6 months.

awesome post, i couldn't agree more, before rafa signed with inter i was one of his biggest haters, but after he joined i put all of that aside and gave him a blank slate

rafa definitely deserves some criticism, but the amount he is receiving is just ridiculous and mostly baseless, rafa may be an easy target because he's the coach and really fat, but that doesn't mean we should always be aiming at him

Well, well, what a shit result, but guess what the table does not lie, the gap from the top is still 3 points, i still see 1 defeat (last sec goal, the lowest in the wholle league, 6 goals conceded, lowest in the league, actually out of that 6 how many of those been created by the opposition, all mistakes by individual players,) pandev, should have scored, stankovich should have scored, etoo should have scored, milito unlucky, 27 matches left 81 points to play for, but only 64 needed for last seasons match, it is not all doom and gloom, and please can we stop commenting on rafa's waistline, the man is overweight through anxiety, not food.... also I will be at the derby traveling from london on friday, maybe i will be the lucky charm... onwards and upwards, good things come to those who wait..;) forza rafa forza inter

also i do not think it is wise to think kicking milans ass is possible, a scrappy win will do an own goal, a deflection, or 1 going in from milito or etoo's backside it will help going into the international break, milan look strong, especially in away matches, but believe me they will falter, they have to many shepherds not enough sheeps, that will cause them problem, also milan are no where near qualifying for CL so it's not all smelling of roses up there i think juventus and roma will be stronger competition .... I am afraid the league is now very competitive, morrati has to spend money to pull away from the rest, you cannot make a profit in the transfer window, weakening the side and expect to have the same result... morrati is a good footballing man and president but i am afraid he has not done the team or rafa any favours by selling balotelli or burdisso, ballotelli has 3 goals for man city already, he has only played 2 games ..he would definently made an impact with inter from the bench plus when milito out... in my opinion but you guys will know more than me.....
