Spezia and Treviso are clubs Inter have co-operated with. At least they get a bunch of youngsters on loan seemingly often.

:)

Moratti owned 30% of Spezia for some time some time ago. We have done a lot of co-ownerships and loans with Treviso the last years, so they must be a farmer club sort of.

How about Bonucci now? Will he get back this summer?

Nice bump. Of course we all know wales are big, that's why you bumped.

We don't need Bonucci, give him as a late Easter present to Milan. We have plenty of promising young players.

Bari Defender Leonardo Bonucci Could Return To Inter - Agent

The agent of Bari defender Leonardo Bonucci has revealed his client could return to Inter in the future, but has ruled out a January move.

The 22-year-old came through the Inter youth system, but was sent out for a couple of loan periods before being transferred to Genoa last summer.

"[The contractual situation] is that he is in joint-ownership between Genoa and Bari," David Torchia explained to FCInterNews.it.

"For now, the dust has settled and he will end the season here. Bonucci is very happy and satisfied with what he's doing. His goal is to remain on this path even after January."

However, the representative did reveal a move back to the San Siro could be on the cards down the line.

"They know Leonardo very well in Milan, because he was part of the Inter youth squad and therefore there is greater potential for a transfer."

Bonucci has created one of the best central defensive partnerships in Serie A this season alongside Andrea Ranocchia, only conceding 15 goals in 16 matches. He has also been linked with Arsenal and Juventus.

why is everyone so exited? him returning is a BIG if and he didn't mention a timeframe which means that he could rejoin 10 years from now for all we know and we don't even own him anymore so if he becomes world class he would cost us a pretty penny

Yes he would probably cost but he still remains an inter product and this makes our club proud. You should see the barca example with fabregas . They released him when he was a youngster but they would pay any sum now to have him back , not because they really need him but mostly because he is their product and would be proud to have him back .
Any club in the world would love to play in a competitive level with 25 players of their academy.

You must be embarassed about this post now :p

IMO Inter really screwed up with Bonucci. He showed great talent whenever he played for Inter, we all knew this kid would become a good player worthy of an Inter jersey, and yet we sold him.... why could we not just loan him out or co-own him?? Now he is a star with Bari, has started to prove his potential day in and day out, and he no longer qualifies as an academy trained player for Inter (as per UEFA rules).

Inter have recently had a great youth academy, but a poor youth policy.... we develop youth talents, but don't know what to do with them after that...

For the last time, sometimes in this buisness you can't predict the future. Some players not showing any pottential can become a big stars, while others shining in the youth teams are nothing special later on.

There is not a single team in this world that didn't make this mistake.

Barcelona gave up Fabregas for Christ sake.

You focus on 3, 4, 5 youth players that we gave up and are doing good. Why you don't focus on hundreds of others we gave up over past 5, 10 years who are nothing special now at all?

Eh? Why should we focus on those hundreds of others? Who are interested on those? Nobody.

We are interested on exactly those who have done well. Those are the proof that there is room for improvement in the sense of trusting younger players. That they actually can play well. And this is not just for Inter, it's common in Italy.

Barcelona gave up of Fabrecas because they couldn't sign him on pro-contract. In England there are different rules in signing young players and that's why Arsenal could offer Fabrecas a real contract. It got nothing to do with Barcelona not trusting Fabrecas.

Why Arsenal didn't took Messi away then? Or Pedro, or Bousquets, or many other youngsters at Barcelona that are currently playing there, and under 18 ? Why don't they steal other top younsters from Real ?

Oh right... because they don't want to go to Arsenal, or anywhere, they want to have a shot at Barcelona, and most importantly those clubs give them the notion that they don't want them leave.

Wow, this Fabregas dude had to be a freak, and what's even more funny, is that I don't remember anybody at Barca back then, telling press how they are angry that Arsenal is stealing away a future star... I'm sure that if they wanted to keep him, they would, just like nobody steals players from Milan, JuBe, Inter, or any other top team. They steal from Parma, Lazio etc. and when they do eventually, we all hear their directors speak loudly about it.

ps. I didn't say you should focus on the 95% of the group, why do you answer for the guy, are you his lawyer? I, for example, focus on 100% of our group. But the guy up there is from this group of FM lovers, who focus on this 5%, and forget about everybody else, that are the living proof of a good management decisions. I would like everybody to look at the whole picture, not just 5% of the picture.

Hmm. I'm gonna take a stab in the dark here...you're the resident know it all in these neck of the woods eh?

Of course a lot of clubs make this mistake, but there is nothing wrong in lamenting the fact. It sucks that we could possibly have had in our youth squad an incredible defender but he slipped through the cracks. That's why hopefully management will learn from it like Barca's management did and give more of our youth shots at the big time. We may not have as many huge talents coming through our academies but this should be somewhat of a wake up call. Barca's management (Laporta specifically) would give their left nut to bring Fabregas back to Camp Nou. Would it be necessary if they hadn't gotten rid of him? Santon and Balo could potentially just be the tip of the iceberg. Our Primavera is strong and it would be damn good to see Inter's Academies become like Ajax and Barca.

Why would we get him back?
The coach is not looking at long term plans, the club is not, and the player wants to play.

Fabregas wanted to go back, but there was no room for him there. No way Barca is gonna drop Ini or Xabi for him. Same thing with Bonucci. We aren't gonna drop Samuel or Lucio for him, and he is not gonna sit in the bench for 10 years and wait for starting spot just to make Inter proud.

10 years? Samuel and Lucio don't have anywhere near that long left...our defense is getting old. Our youngest defenders are Maicon and Chivu and they're 28 and 29. Bringing in new defenders at this point isn't exactly a priority but the change of the guard in that sector is sure to be necessary in the next few years...
