I don't like the formation. Pazzini is static so we would be left with Sneijder only. I want Zarate next to Pazzini

To be realistic, one would predict Inter to draw (at most) considering the situation and form. However, a win would be amazing and would make us leaders of the group (most likely), but its incredibly difficult. Personally, I wouldn't mind even a draw, that would be a positive result after all.

Latest rumoured formation and it is interesting:

Probabile Formazione
Julio Cesar
Maicon Lucio Chivu Nagatomo
Motta Cambiasso
Zanetti Sneijder Obi
Pazzini

I think it is not that good enough and Zarate should support Sneijder & Pazzini. Then again, its not bad to focus on the midfield and bring on Zarate in the second half. Atleast that is better than having to see Milito--Pazzini from the start and Zarate coming later on for Milito (routine sub :S)

:)

Draw would be an okay result in advance. We don't necessary have to win this one and Ranieri knows it. We have the home match left against Lille and that is the must-win match. Of course winning this one would be a bonus which would give us some breathing room for the rest of the group stage.

Defeat would put us in a must-win situation for not only against Lille @ home but for at least other remaining match too.

Ranieri will start this match in a quite conservative fashion, I'm pretty sure about that. We don't want to lose this, draw is fine for now. The team is in pretty shambolic state so we have to lay the ground work again and the basis of success is a solid defensive package.

According to which source? Inter.it or uefa.com gives nothing.

From uefa.com

Rudi Garcia's side are unbeaten in their last ten matches in all competitions, and have never lost at home in ten UEFA Champions League group stage fixtures.

Pretty tough shit. Hopefully Sneijder gives us the chance to break those streaks.

It seems like Ranieri will play two strikers Zarate and Pazzini.
