Finally a left wing back who can dribble. I just wonder can Messi brake the Inter's LB curse.

#Messi, l’Inter aspetta il momento giusto per entrare in azione: il piano è pronto da tempo ma prima Zhang vuole conoscere i costi della rottura con il Barcellona, si cercano sponsor GDS

I think there's a good chance that Suning are legitimately interested in Messi. They're always interested in sponsorships and business revenues and they've already tried another crazy idea before (Modric) so they might have another attempt here. However, Messi's interests and plans are another subject.

Spoiled bitch. He throw his toys out of the pram at any time he is unhappy. He just want Barca president gone that's all. As much as I hate CR7, he is not a drama queen on the level of Messi and he's actually a leader for his country unlike Messi who left his country like a bitch.

Messi hasn't been happy with the current management for a long time. Now it was enough, he realized he can't win there, so he's out.

No, we actually are in the race but our car is shit and our fuel isn't optimal. Maybe after making the proper adjustments at the pit stops we will come back stronger.

At this stage, Messi is still under contract with Barcelona and we cannot do much. Manchester City on the other hand is discussing with Barcelona for a potential deal.

And they will meet Messi's entourage in Barcelona on Monday.

I know that Messi was a long shot anyway, but management seems to talk aloud about stuff they can't deliver. And Moratti also, although not making decisions, is still an ex-president of the club and his voice is heard when he speaks. And every time he speaks he makes Inter look ridiculous. What his dreams are is no longer relevant.

Now the same shit is going on with Tonali. We've had an agreement with him all these months, and it turns out we don't even bother to sit down with Brescia management. A lot of talk for nothing. Just shut the fuck up if you can't get something done and don't delude fans with bullshit.

Why? In Italy he pays less taxes, and he'll break off his contract with Barca.

Actually he probably makes the same money at inter vs City because the club takes the tax burden basically. There's a way his dad could in principle take advantage of the res non dom rule in Italy hypothetically to reduce messis tax on foreign income so best of both worlds.

L'Equipe tells Juventus have contacted Messi's father. :trollol:

As a total paranoid, I'm already constructing a conspiracy theories in my head how Juventus is encouraging if not threatening Messi to not come to Italy (because they can't afford him and they know who can), maybe even promising some side-business for the father if they skip Italy. Hahaha :serious:

messi would be great at inter, and we'd probably win the league with him, but i dont think he'd turn our team into CL contenders. We're just not well rounded enough yet imho - and things like CL seedings will screw us. I want Messi here emotively and from a commercial point, but I dont think he'd make us into a tier 1 club (e.g. regular latter stage CL appearances) just by himself

Maybe not immediately but when we get our game going with Messi integrated, I'm sure we would be there at least competing there in CL knockout matches. Of course it requires other changes too in the roster. But yeah, not tier 1 CL team immediately.

I think we're CL contenders immediately. The top teams just aren't that good anymore. Remember Pep's Barca and Heynckes's Bayern? No teams are even close to that.

Now Liverpool and Bayern are strong, although not as strong as those two you mentioned.

So our transfer strategy this season is to get Conte all the old players he wants, but not spending any money.

Or it is to sign a whole bunch of experienced (over the hill) players for no money, and save everything to splurge on Messi.

its to try to have a net 0 player market. We've got like 11 undesired players right now minimum however you count it (Berni, Asamoah, Vecino, Valero, Candreva, JM, 9golan, Perisic, Dalbert, Lazaro, Dimarco) - we need to focus on offloading some of these guys first. We've basically built up years of transfer debt because we didnt want to / couldnt afford to take amortisation hits on players.

- - - Updated - - -

so its only rumour but apparentlyy his driving ambition is to win the next two ballon d'ors - we dont have a chance if that's the case imho

Why?
2022 will depend on the World Cup.
2021 could be his if he wins Scudetto with Inter and a deep run in the Champions League. Dethroning Juventus and stopping them from cheating to 10 in a row is going to cause a lot of hype, especially with rival Cristiano on the receiving end.
There's also the Euro, but it doesn't have that much gravity and we cannot force him to play for Spain or Italy to become eligible. Nobody cares about the Copa America in these things either.

i wont mind too much if juve sign messi, they'll be spending 50% of their income on ronaldo+messi alone :D

and i dont think he'll make the difference for them into winning the CL.
