Everytime I saw him (just a few occassions) he remembered me of Skriniar. He seems like a big, strong and physical defender. I really hope that the buyback-option will be valid next year as well because he seems to have the potential to play for us. Look at Dimarco, sometimes it turns out good giving our youth player some chances. For example: Why should we waste that much money on that Bissek guy if we already have a young and proven youth product?

Inter youngster Lorenzo Pirola has agreed to join Salernitana but the Nerazzurri have a buy-back clause for him, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FCInternews, the central defender has taken some time to weigh up his options but has now said yes to the proposed move to the Granata.

He will move to Salerno on a one-year loan deal for which Salernitana will pay €1 million and then if they stay in Serie A and he makes at least 20 appearances, they will have to buy the Italian for €4 million.

Inter have decided to keep a buy-back clause in place for Lorenzo Pirola. That means that from 2024, the Nerazzurri can pay Salernitana €12 million and they will have to accept the bid.

He will sign a four-year contract with Davide Nicola’s side and there is an option for a fifth year as well should the move go well.
