LORENZO TASSI JOINS AVELLINO ON LOAN

The midfielder has gone on loan to the Campania-based club, which have an option to make the deal permanent, with Inter holding a counter-option.

MILAN - F.C. Internazionale would like to announce that Lorenzo Tassi has joined Avellino on loan. The Campania-based club have an option to buy the 21-year-old midfielder, while Inter hold a counter-option.

Just incase anyone was wondering whatever happened to him. He was loaned to Avellino this season in Serie B along with Isaac Donkor.

Both have failed to impress and will be returning to Inter this January where they will be sent back out on loan. Donkor will go to another Serie B side but apparently Tassi will be going down a level to Lega Pro. Both are 21 now.

I doubt it. There hasn't been any improvement in either of them. At 21 and being sent down even further on the chain...bust.

Mastour is a great example of this happening elsewhere. What about Rhain Davis, that 9 year old wonder kid United signed years ago?

The problem is that youth wonderkids, unless selected for the right reasons, RARELY work out. We shouldnt ever spend more than like 200-250k on a youth player, that was the mistake here.

Because inter just have too many case like this, so many decent player from primavera failed to made a cut into first team or some player inter bought because they thought they will become good player but failed meet the expectation, or the one who we give up too early. Sure that Mastour kid is good example how hyping the kid too early will only made the situation worst, but I believe still both Milan and United have a way better ratio for young player who made cut into their first team than us for past year.

every football team in the world has this sort of story.

United are only big at the moment, really, because of Rashford imho. Milan are doing well but its *Very* recent that that is the case, and its partly been FORCED on them by a lack of transfer funds.


We know the wonderkids that Inter sign because it's big news for us as fans, and when they fail we remember. But its not big news for us when Arsenal, or Chelsea, sign wonderkids and they fail.
