Hahaha
For him to come back, we needed to completely change the team again and get him his wingers. Inter dont have the money for that, so Inzaghi was the obvious choice. We should kept him, now we are stuck with fucking arhaic 3 5 2 .
I dont want him back now. We should've hired top coach that doesnt play this shitty system with back 3. Now after Skriniar's gone we are pretty fucked cause we always need that one extra cb.For him to come back, we needed to completely change the team again and get him his wingers. You are saying Spalletti and even Pioli were terrible while we see they are doing great. Pioli got trpohy and Spalletti is doing the same.He had two full seasons, we got him radja that he desperately wanted and he was fucking shit and cost zaniolo too, but we were dreadful in his second season. We were so so bad to watch. Empoli, already relegated, should have beat us on our last match day to knock us out of champions league qualification.
Appreciate him getting us back to CL but obvious both parties were better off separating. I still like him though.
I was waiting for 6th, they were luckyRube's first 5 goal defeat in 30 years.
Spaghettimaster will be drinking a fine italian wine tonight.
That's the reason I didn't like conte, because of him, we had to change our formation and ever since the disadvantages have been dominated and now it costs a lot to rebuild the team for 4231 or 433 formation again or maybe we should choose only 3-5-2 choaches like Inzaghi for ever.We should kept him, now we are stuck with fucking arhaic 3 5 2 .
True but he was right though.Lets wait and see guys.. He s done great at Napoli but I still suspect he might get in a fight with one of his star player cause things are going to good and fuck up the season...
Also no we should not want him back, spalletis problems has always been handling big egos (totti, Icardi, De Rossi) not sure that got better.
Spalletti didn't have issues with Icardi for the most part, he had issues with some other players and Icardi called him out for that in front of the whole team that he was playing favorites. I guess they ended up clashing after the captaincy thing, but until that decision, Spalletti rated Icardi and was using him. It's more like he lost the locker room than clashing with one player, in the sense that we had 2-3 cliques and he enabled it.True but he was right though.
Totti was at the end of his career and expected to be considered a star , Icardi we all saw what happened to his career so i would actually praise Spalleti for having the balls to say things how they are.
Nevertheless people learn from their mistakes and if he manages to win the league with Napoli it will show that he has learned to manage a team at the top and be a great boost to his confidence and probably put him on a map for a premier/spanish league top team not for '5 euro mercato' inter
what about Radja? why did Conte deprive him?Spalletti didn't have issues with Icardi for the most part, he had issues with some other players and Icardi called him out for that in front of the whole team that he was playing favorites. Totti was not used much and wanted to see out his final season as a starter. Don't think Roma had locker room issues. They had more issues with the management and ownership than the coach.

Who were those players?
This 'Croat' clan remind me about what Capello said: "Suker and Mijatovic didn't want to pass the ball to Raúl".Well, it's been a while but we had "clan" issues. The let's call it Icardi clan iirc was made up of himself, Miranda, Keita Balde, Vecino, Valero, Joao Mario and a few others who weren't as vocal at the time, like Lautaro. Something like a Spanish/Portuguese speakers clan. Probably Dalbert, too.
You had the Croatians on the other hand with Perisic, Brozovic and Vrsaljko with Nainggolan iirc part of that group and a few others.
Then you had the "neutrals", like Ranocchia, Handanovic, Skriniar, Politano, D'Ambrosio, Candreva, Asamoah etc, mostly the Italians and players that were in Italy for many years.
Spalletti was favoring the 'Croat' clan and singled out players like Keita and maybe Lautaro and Vecino in front of everyone while if you remember Perisic was rather awful during that stretch and he never said anything bad about him. So Ivan didn't react well when Icardi said in front of everyone that Spalletti never says anything about Perisic's form.
Not sure why he ended up getting punched by Nainggolan in a different occasion, but I imagine he also used Radja's name sometime
The captaincy stripping came after a win against Parma when Lautaro scored the winner. Allegedly Spalletti said some bad words about some players, whilst praising a few others and Icardi didn't react well to that. Which escalated to management and Marotta told Spalletti that he has his blessing if he feels that changing the captain would help the team. The decision didn't have much to do with any contract talks. The Wanda shit vs Perisic and Brozovic wasn't helping though.
People didn't pay attention, but this was the reason why Marotta let Miranda go. He was part of that riot. Doesn't mean that everyone was as vocal or everyone was aligned with whatever their "clan" did, but these were the locker room dynamics. For example, you can recall the Politano vs Perisic incident after Matteo scored and Perisic thought that his celebration was a tribute or mock to Icardi.
