Would he count as club trained since we loaned him out a few times? I know we signed him at like 17/18
Not yet for either but after next season for serie a not for cl.

Rules for serie a are the player owned for 3 seasons between 15 and 21 irrespective of loans. For cl the player has to have been at the club.

Are you sure on Serie A? Because that's the CL rule you're describing, all the player needs to do is be in the club's books.

Means Bastoni is club trained by now (as he loses his U21 status in the process).

No, Bastoni won't be club-trained ever. You need to play (be registered) for the club 3 years between ages 15-21. Bastoni never did this.

Haven't heard about that more lenient Serie A rule.

But, Agoume can become one if he plays next season at Inter. Then he's eligible as club-trained in 23/24 onwards. I think. He's 20 in less than 2 weeks. I should check how the dates are considered in UEFA rules. Some day.

Bastoni came when he was 18. He has completed 3 seasons as an Inter player.

UEFA:
A "club-trained player" is a player who, between the age of 15 (or the start of the season during which he turns 15) and 21 (or the end of the season during which he turns 21), and irrespective of his nationality and age, has been registered with his current club for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons (i.e. a period starting with the first official match of the relevant national championship and ending with the last official match of that relevant national championship) or of 36 months. In the context of this paragraph, the season immediately preceding a player’s 15th birthday may be counted if his birthday is after the last match of the relevant national championship but before or on 30 June (winter championships) or 31 December (summer championships), and the season immediately following his 21st birthday may be counted if his birthday is on or after 1 July (winter championships) or 1 January (summer championships) but before the first match of the relevant national championship.

Also UEFA:
Club-trained players players who were on a club's books for three years between the ages of 15 and 21.

Not sure if that's contradictory or just bad legal lingo.

I think the latter one is more about bad lingo, the first one is straight from UEFA rules PDF? Bastoni started playing at Inter (registered at Inter) when he was 20. So I don't see him being eligible as club-trained unfortunately.

I think there are a bit of discrepencies in the rules between CG for league vs europe maybe? In football manager, they're implemented differently. IIRC, in the league, its 3 years with permanent registration at the parent club even if on loan, whereas in the CL its playing (not on loan) at parent club

Seems for this season basto still qualified for the b list as he was never registered on the squad at the liga site.
So seems we will only be able to confirm 100% next season:

Can't confirm zinho either as seems genoa didn't need to register him in the squad.

Great find @Stefan didn't realize they presented it so neatly.

This means we can sign an additional player in this window since they're including Sensi and Kolarov there, no?

Great find

We have 23 on that list right now, with 1 short on Club Grown. Assuming we dont find another club grown player, we can register 1 more player on that list.

If Sensi and Kolarov leave, then we can register 2 new players assuming neither are club or home grown.

Caicedo is one, the other can be the midfielder. Any kind, not just Frattesi who barely misses the u21 status since we can put Gagliardini on the O22 list.

But Bastoni didn't went to the B list in CL. Thus, we have 2 spots free after Kolarov leaves (max being 24) in CL.
