I’m happy that he got an opportunity to play. It shows Inzaghi at least knows he exists and we aren’t holding it against him for refusing the loan options.

However, I really hope we give him a chance in his preferred position eventually. He is a good passer. I don’t see a real role for him as a CM in our system, he’s not really dynamic enough imo. Although I guess if he becomes the Gagliardini replacement when we are trying to defend leads he can do a job.

he was running all over the pitch and literally begging for the pass. You can see the boy is hungry for experience and sadly our players just ignored him uselessly passing to each other.
