if, by pogba, you mean 'disappointing relative to the price paid'?

The thing is, when he first came on to the scene and was acquired by Inter, that is exactly how the media coined him "the next Pogba".

Apologies for missing the cue.
Still better than Gagliardini being “the white pogba” 😂

Watch the highlight of him on twitter, his ball control become terrible then when he debut with inter, to much holding. Imo he is more and more leaning toward worst version of kondogbia that cant control shit and dont know what to do with the ball (vision)

According to whoscored he's no longer a certified starter at Brest. To me he's just too slow in thinking and movement, lack dynamism, just not good enough. Again our scouting, do they watch these guys?? Is anyone watching him now?

I think that was because he was injured. Before his injury he was a starter. Didn't watch him though so can't comment on how he is doing but being a starter at a club such as Brest at this age means there is potential. I hope the potential is good enough for Inter because I liked him when I first saw him at a Youth tournament. He was sixteen when he made his debut so there must be something about this kid.

He also became a fan of the club in his time hear, always talking positive about the club and support it whenever they play. Not that it matters much but it's always nice to see from young players who are out on loan.

I’m not surprised he’s doing reasonably well in the French League considering he came from that system and has spent time in Italy training with good coaches. I’m not sure how much that will translate into serie a. I’d prefer to use him as a bargaining chip for a transfer.

I think he will replace Brozo one day... He is that type of player.

Probably deserves another hard look this summer, unless some team really wants him for a fair amount of money.

I don't think his distribution was ever an issue, that part of his game is progressing well enough, it's the off the ball stuff: movement, support play, pressing, intercepting, positioning, etc. To me he has a lethargic, sluggish play style, similar to Pogba, the sort of player who spends more time on the pitch walking or jogging than actual running.

Anyway, no matter his progress, i would think he needs more time on loan. The DLP role is essentially the core of the team. I don't think Agoume at 20-22 is ready to be the "brain" of Inter in the same way as Brozovic. And a couple of games a season plus a handful of 10 minute cameos won't do his development any good. He needs to play 90 minutes, week in week out.

Agreed, he’s actually always been pretty sound technically. He’s a good passer. He just doesn’t seem like a great athlete. You can be slow and still an effective DM, but it takes a lot of experience. You don’t just become Cambiasso over night.
