Our possible replacement for Luis Figo. It seems we will loan this player and if he does well, he will stay with us. He has a future and we would use him in CL next season. Can't see any better player (Serie A proven) available for Figo's position. Branca and Oriali have to do everything to get him.

i hope we get him, he's a great young player with loads of pottential. He plays the game using his speed and creative passes in which he builds counter attacks. And as i said before, his defense is better then most offensive orriented players.

He is this seasons mariano gonzales, a loan player to be used primarily in the coppa to see if he has any real potential. I doubt he will have any impact.

i see where your coming at azzkikr, but as much as you see him as mariano, i def. cant see that happening. I think he will have an impact on our team and play evertime figo can't. He may even work his way into the starting line up but we will just have to wait and see instead of judging him now or comparing him to a tranfer failure (mariano).

I tend to agree with Azzkikr- but I'll give him a chance. To be very honest- I'm more excited about Kovac than this guy. This guy has been in Serie A and failed- Kovac is still an unknown.

There are tons of better options who also are available, its just the matter of the club being willing to spend the dough. The only reason jimenez has joined is because its a loan deal.

I doubt he will be used primarily in the Coppa.

What do you base that on? Same situations, loan players, who are far down the squad at 4-5th choice. Do you seriously believe jimenez would go to inter on a permanent deal at this stage? He is only comming because its a loan deal, he is not thought any special role in the team except being a backup far down the squad picking order.

Has anyone seen jimenez play, when he was fit and not getting off injury he was great. Jimenez has not failed in serie a, and what ever gives people that view, thats your oppinion. He's been one of the better lazio players, and i watched over 10 games he played in and not a single one did he have a bad game. He had assists in about 5 of them, scored in 2 and set up some wonderful plays. Not to mention he was great with fiorentina in all the games he played in. But if people think of him as failure so be it. We''ll wait and see, i hope he doesnt dissapoint and i'm confident he wont.

Well did you expect him to say otherwise? He is the coach he has to say that, Have you ever heard a coach saying that a player would only be used a last option backup in the coppa to see if he has any potential?

I tell you guys, u better keep a eye on Luis Jimenez! The poor guy is already being labelled as a bad transfer but believe me, here we have got on LOAN a real potential STAR player who could really make u people think bad about the words u are saying today.

He is young 23, was voted the best chilean player of the 2005/2006 season above D. Pizarro, is Chile's captain at such a young age and most importantly he showed creativity,skills, good passing and performed well for both Fiorentina and Lazio when they bought him.

Just give the guy time and u will see that we have got a very very good player who is being underrated big time.

Jimenez and Suazo are 2 real powerfull signings by us! They bring speed and creativity. Lets hope we can get Chivu, especially after having sold Grosso then we are all set to rumble whole of Europe.

This transfer is semi-official already, because Mancini confirmed him, but he was not presented yet.

I think the opposite! He will be much better than Mariano Gonzales (he is a winger) and I also rate him better. I think he can confirm but in this case this good LOAN deal could backfire because 11 mil. euro for full ownership is not cheap. But maybe INTER intend to buy Nasri after Figo retires

Cute, though your understanding of the real issue here is none-existing :| I hope for your parents sake you will soon develop some kinda intelligence or else they will be stuck with you in their basement for the rest of their lives.
