We went too much off-topic here bro...

Anyway, I see Hargreaves as great player, and none can convince me the opposite... He has tackle, heart to play, agression, stamina... IMO, he is one of the best DMs, as i already said...

Its same in England as in Italy. The Italian/English players are so expensive even though you can find same talented player in other countries for half the price.

Hargreaves is NOT worth 25m euro or whatever they payed for him. Neither is Nani or Anderson. Nobody, except man utd, chelsea and real madrid would pay that much for them. They are just ruining the prices with ridicolus offers.

They are different. Hargreaves plays with his tough body while Cuchu plays with his intelligence.

Yeah, that's the thing I gues... I have seen Hargreaves many times with Bayern, due to Martin's wish..... And that
s why i say he is one of the best, he was easyly always one of the best players of Bayern in every match...

That was because everyone else underperformed. Hargreaves may be a good player, but he is surely not worth those 25m.

To me I see Jimenez not a replacement for Figo, but a replacement for the likes of Stankovic and Vieira and may be even Cambiasso, he is not a true winger, just like Deki, but could play in many positions in midifeld, but his main one is behind the strikers or just on the center line midfield but not a DM like Dacourt

You are wrong. He is like a replacement for Figo, because he isn't a CM, he's more like an AM. And he can also play as a winger, probably supporting striker too.

On contrary. I don't think he's replacement for anyone. He's here to fill up the empty spot in the squad. Someone we could throw on for some flair in midfield if needed. If anything, he's a replacement for Mariano Gonzalez, but tbh he's lot better, and will only improve to higher levels, than Gonzalez will ever be.

He is much better than mariano?

What do you base that on? His great serie c experience? He has only played about 30 serie a games total and sucked in more than half of them.....

Sucked more than half of them?
Is that why Lazio were actually planning a midfield around him next season? :wallbang:

He had a few good performances with Fiorentina (I think he even scored against us) and I remember some very good performances with Lazio last season.

He is better than Mariano. Easily.

matrix has called him the "new stankovic"

Matrix: Emerson not welcome
Tuesday 24 July, 2007
Marco Materazzi says that he does not want Emerson to join Inter after the Brazilian’s statements dating to last year.

El Puma is a reported target for the Nerazzurri with both fellow countryman Adriano and Coach Roberto Mancini stating their admiration for the midfielder.

“I don’t want him here, last year he insulted Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Patrick Vieira because they had chosen Inter and now he wants to do the same,” Materazzi told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I don’t like this attitude, I would prefer it if he returned to Juventus,” added the world champion.

Emerson had criticised his former teammates, as he believed their move to Inter represented a betrayal, and had stated that he could "never do such a thing to Juve.”

However, Materazzi is ready to greet Cristian Chivu, who he hopes will soon join the Italian champions, and is pleased with President Massimo Moratti’s new signings so far.

“I am happy for David Suazo’s arrival, we needed a man just like him upfront. Luis Jimenez? He is the new Stankovic,” he concluded.

Mike. With all honesty will a player attack his teammate or cast doubt on a newly arrived signing?
