Do you think Inter needs this player?

yea i'm enjoying this one just as much as suazo. But what makes this better is the buy out clause at the end. If he's good we buy him if not we dont. That makes him want to work hard, due to the fact that he mite end up being bought by the best team in italia.

Same here.

I've wanted the guy in Inter shirt for two and a half years. I knew how he played with Ternana in Serie B. He was immense for them. I know we had followed him before aswell, alongside several other teams including Arsenal, Juventus etc. I was happy that he went to Fiorentina finally in 2006 January, but unluckily the Calciopoli ruined it for his career.

Ternana was and still is a complete bitch in letting him move and had set a ridiclous price-tag years ago. The guy should've moved to top club or atleast Serie A around 3-4 years ago! He didn't want to risk going back to Serie B with Fiorentina last summer, that's why he didn't want to go so Fiorentina bidded 0 pounds for his co-ownership.

He didn't have proper training after that, but with Lazio he started retaining his form and with world-class guys like Figo, Stankovic, Ibrahimovic around to teach him what his position needs, he can become immense. Not all talents blossom as young like Messi, who though is the best talent of football (despite my slight dislikenings). Eventhough he could've become a great playe already at 20-years old or so aswell if he would've moved to right club at time.

Last guy who I had wanted for ages didn't turn up as good in Grosso, but atleast we got the money back. I'm quite hopeful that if we don't demand Jimenez to turn the world upside down from the start, he can become part of this club for a decade to come alongside stars like Burdisso and Ibrahimovic.

How people get to the conclusion that jimenez, with his massive 841 minutes played in serie a last season is even remotely ready to play anything above a few coppa games is beyond me. And a substitute for figo :howler:? figo IS a substitute people, no need for substitutes for other substitutes...

I bet 99% of you have no idea who he is, and are just jumping on the wagon because some clueless regulars in here says he is any good...

Amusing though.

I hope you will be around on these forums round about mid October, I bet by then u will be all over Jimenez's cock.

No.

Crespo can be ours for free next summer as his contract with Chelsea will expire. We can give him a new offer and keep him.

For Jimenez we will have to shell out 11m if we keep him.

Nice to see, that a lot of people are happy that we got this guy. Now lets hope he repays back the confidence Inter has given him.

Just thought, I share a couple of real beauties our new signing scored with Lazio and with Chile. Not to forget he also scored one sweet volley against us, in the game where we lost 2-1 and Recoba scored a cracking freekick.

I cant wait to see this guy in action, he has the skills to provide us with creativity and speed but the question is will he be able to show this on a regular basis?

Btw his nickname is EL MAGO, the magician/wizard.

Lucho who? Are you confused between Lucho Gonzalez of Porto and Luiz Jimenez?:p
"Lucho" is just a nick for someone named "Luis." Kinda like "Jimmy" for "James," y'know. :)

Like Katie, I'd prefer Quaresma rather than him, actually, but since Quaresma's price has been inflated by other team's interest in him, and since this guy will just be a sub to Figo and Stankovic, I don't mind at all. On another note, I am quite optimistic that he will accept his bench role without much complaint. Surely, he doesn't expect to be a starter in a big team like Inter, with players like Figo or Stankovic ahead of him.

I think everyone would prefer Quaresma. Hell, I'd prefer a hot brunette with a big rack and a nice ass but I'd settle for a broad with uneven teeth and down sydrome if it cost me less money. That's what I liken this Inter move too.

Wow, I can't possibly see how this is a bad move. We loaned him for gods sake! He is young, he is probably quite happy with a fringe role, if he doesn't explode, it's not a big deal, but if he blossoms here, he can be big for us. There is no significant risk involved, we can only win here.

Azzkikr, tell me how much YOU have seen of him? I have watched him play 5-6 times, and think he has the potential to be excellent in Serie A, he has all the qualities to be very good player in Serie A. He has skill and solid physics, I only hope he can find some constancy to his performances.

Why can't you Mr. Azzkikr make an exception to your wonderful style of commenting, and describe your thoughts of him, not just say how bad he is. I have a feeling you have no idea what you are talking about this time. For your information, I don't think you are clueless at all when it comes to football in general; but now all you seem to now is the statistics how much he played last season.

Just don't pay attention to what he says he's crying out for attention or something.
