I would probably have a hard time finding someone who's both a football and hockey fan who watched both guys play, but I get heavy Mario Lemieux vibes when the topic of R9 comes up. Statistically, he's one of the greatest players ever despite the fact that his career is littered with "what if's" wrought by injuries. Fitzy, I have never seen a LGI vote revisited. Christian Vieri should have another vote: the guy is always at our games and is still an Interista. Both players are modern day greats and very much a part of our history.
