I'd prefer to be last than to be third...

I definitely want EL run rather than without Europe at all. We need those coefficient points.

How about win the league and the EL?

By the way, based on Suning promises and the amounts invested, this year we were supposed to challenge for the Champions League. Ironically, the funds spent and committed should have merited such results. But when you waste that on hiring Marotta whose genius idea was to hire Conte and do him almost every favour, the results have FIF be like: "please crash out of Europe altogether since we're shit there" :yao2:

But apparently I was exaggerating for saying back in the summer of 2019 that we were really close to being a CL contender but we wasted that opportunity.... Yet you see teams like Atalanta, Lyon, a crippled PSG, Lazio, Ajax and Dortmund have decent chances to progress in the tournament. Oh, and Gladbach of course!

Let's win this shit today. Fuck the loser mentality. I'd rather fail to qualify with two wins here than shit our pants completely. Enough with the negative records already!

2 wins in the last 2 starting with These chumps. Real Merde will do the right thing as they are playing BS football right now and need to regain form.

Sneak into the round of 16 and then anything can happen. You know what I believe we can do it. We not playing at a consistently high level at the moment but all that going to change in the next week or two. You’ll see.

As if it would help. Conte will most likely still be our manager next year so even if we were in pot 1 we won't do jack shit in CL given how shit his track record is in Europe.

Borussia Monchengladbach fans let off fireworks outside Inter Milan hotel ahead of Champions League clash
By Tom Canton Published: December 1, 2020 10:28 am

Italian media has reported that at 4am this morning Borussia Monchengladbach fans gathered outside the Inter Milan hotel to let of fireworks.

Inter Milan face the German side tonight in a must-win game if they want to have any hope of securing qualification from the group. Inter have currently been unable to win a single game. Drawing twice and losing twice meaning they sit at the foot of group B.

With the reported fan made explosions going off for an uninterrupted 5 minutes it supposedly woke the players in the night. Gladbach currently sit top of the group and a win for them would automatically qualify them for the next round of the competition.

It will be interesting to see whether the interruption to the Nerazzurri’s sleep will have impacted their preparation for the key clash.

The only thing I’m expecting from this game is a nice double kick goal from Valentino Lazaro.

In my books you were exaggerating. Not even Manchester City have been close to CL for years. To challenge for the CL you need much more than 1-2 good transfer windows. It needs a basis of winning culture. Funds spent and committed is not enough, not at this short time period of 2 years (project zero again when Spalletti was kicked out). Scudetto is another story but CL simply requires more.

Anyway, we simply need to win today. Like you said, we need to at least keep our end of the promise and win our matches so that we won't fall short on that one like in the previous two years (with all the calculations before the final round etc and then we end up not winning the match which by winning it we would have qualified )

I smell a draw. Cunte will field Sanchez and Eriksen in last 5 minutes of the game.

A 3rd place finish in the group and being cast down to hell i.e. the Europa League, is still better than the ignominy of finishing dead last. These cunts need practice and the Europa League is a very attainable trophy. That said I think we're going to lose this match.

what a shitty team

Conte is such a stubborn twat. Benching Alexis who is finding his form in order to have a more 'solid' team, and by solid a mean bottom of our group.

That's not a shitty team bro.

have i remember to you when we played with mudingayi gargano as midfielder ora alvarez rocchi as strikers? Don't joke bro.

that's a really good team. I think that we miss just a bit of quality in the midfield, but we have Gagliardini on the field and eriksen on the bench :D

Milan themselves are playing Thursday. If we ‘let’ them win Scudetto it won’t be because of Thursday nights. So far they’ve been the ones playing Thursdays and are 5 points ahead.
