No wonder he gave you playing time! :troll:

Haha I think it explains the reason why I played 14/18 games freshman year, then 6/18 sophomore year, then 18/18 junior year and finally 1/18 senior year...

Never will understand how the guy kept his job for over 20 years...before "resigning" he had 9 straight losing seasons. The new coach has been there for 3 seasons and has had a winning record twice and finished .500 in the other season. In my four years we won 14 games...the new coach won 9 in his first season lol!

After losing a close match 1-0 against #18 Penn State in their first game of the season, my alma mater did the unthinkable and took down #15 Ohio State! This is extremely coincidental, because one of Siena basketball's biggest wins was against Ohio State in 2009. Unfortunately, a year after that, they lost their head coach to a big school, which I fear will be happening soon to the soccer team as well...

Fairly good. He's not surrounded by much talent at Vancouver (one of the worst clubs in the MLS) but he usually makes the most of the chances he does get. Caps also have Chiumiento, a player some might know. He's a former Gobbi youth product :)palm:) and Swiss international.

So this weekend my former team Siena will play #16 Iona. After the huge upset over Ohio State, Siena has been quite bad. They still have not won a game in their conference and it does not look like they will make it to the conference tournament. Iona has a few guys from Spain on their team Ignacio Maganto, who came from the Getafe youth system and Alvaro Torrecilla who actually played in the Real Madrid youth system before also moving to Getafe and then Iona. Their freshman keeper, Borja Barbero, played for Real Valladolid for 9 years.

I will let you know how it goes...

Thought this post would belong on your players to watch thread. :troll: I'm happy to be 9-3-1 and 4-0 in conference so far.

Just reminded me why I have never watched a full MLS game...too bad that hides the fact that the scorer took an awesome shot on goal!

2-0-0 against the Top 25 LOL!

http://www.sienasaints.com/sports/m-soccer/recaps/101611aaa.html

4-7-1 and 1-3-1 in Conference

Well, there's always the conference tournament right? Assuming the MAAC has one. The Pac-12 is the one school that doesn't have one for some strange reason. At least we're a lock for the big tournament when it comes in a month.

BTW, Emery Welshman has been the lone star for Oregon state. He has 2 goals and 6 assists through 13 games. Poor team though sucks overall, since they're Oregon State.

Well, normally you have to finish in the top 4 to make it to the MAAC tournament, however every 4 years all teams are invited down to Disney's Wide World of Sports to compete. I went in 2003, last one was 2007, so that means the 2011 championship will be there too...hopefully they can upset everyone!

Damn...Emery really should have stayed. Siena has no offense and he would have been the star this year...

Next years expansion team (a term Europeans are probably a bit unfamiliar with) the Montreal Impact have signed our former player Nelson Rivas. It was their first signing I believe.
