Time to fire up this bad boy again. Inzaghi’s lack of big game wins he should be fired.

Would you take Allegri with his 0 wins against top sides in the league?

While Inzaghi has his flaws and his record in big games is problematic, we have much bigger problems to solve than the coach. I also don't see any better coach who could be available.

Let's see how season ends. If he ends up winning Scudetto we could even argue he's worth an extension.

I don't see much coaches that could do better with a worse squad than previous season. Even tho I name him responsible for spending too much on Correa.

Unless he fails to achieve top4 he's staying and probably gets an extension of his contract.

Big game points vs so-called 7 sisters in serie a:
Milan 21 points
Inter 16 points
Napoli 15 points
Juve 17 points
Roma 7 points
Atalanta 11 points
Lazio 11 points
Fiorentina 6 points

Inzaghi hasn't won many but he hasn't lost many either.
I get we are disappointed cause we could have wrapped the league with 2 wins in the last 2 games. But the sky isn't falling yet.

Can't name you a manager that would be an upgrade while being willing to be on Inzaghi's wages/deal with the current mercato strategies being implemented.

Always hoping that Klopp is our next manager post-Limone but he's on something like £15m IIRC, completely unattainable for us.

If he wins the scudetto I don't think its a debate at all, he will have earned an extension.

The target for this year was top 4 after our sales. I think he's done great so far. He's only been coaching since 2016. If he finishes top 4 I still think he should be extended.

It would be a dream to get Ten Hag. Tactical one of the best managers there is and I'm hoping he will get a chance to prove himself. He really developed himself the last years in his presentation and how to deal with players who have their own opinion. But I'm afraid he will end up at Man Utd.

Although i really like Ten Hag i have serious doubts he would fit in at Inter or Italy. Italy is for sure the most tactical league there is and it is really hard for foreign coaches to adapt to that. In The Netherlands everything is different. From the way we train to the way we prepare for matches.

Ten Hag is a serious good coach but i think he's not suited to Serie A. Man United would be a really good move for him IMO.

Wow. You really changed your mind about Ten Hag since the last time i asked you: :D

Not a big fan of him but he is a good tactician and a bad ''manager''. Let me first explain that a manager of Ajax is hard if you are not from the club itself. For example Frank de Boer couldn't do anything wrong because he was a true 'Ajacied''. Then Peter Bosz (now Bayer Leverkussen) came along and the first months they were alot of negative stories about him. Same happened with Ten Hag. If you are not from the club and know the environment you will have a hard time so I'm not 100% objective. He is a very good tactician but he is very stubborn in believing his way is the only way. He has his favorites and will play them until the end of times. On the one hand that is a good thing in a good coach because he gives confidence to players but if you do it for to long people will call you out on this.

Apparently he's not a favorite for the Latin-gang at Ajax (Neres, Alvarez, Tagliafico, Martinez etc) because the way he acts against his players. For example: we bought Alvarez for 15M in the summer of 2019 as a replacement for De Ligt. He played him allmost every match as a midfielder, even though everyone could see he isn't a midfielder. After that I know that in his first months at Ajax they were a lot of players complaining about his training regime he does a lot of tactical 11 vs 11 training and stops the training every time he sees something wrong(I guess a bit like Conte). The captain (Tadic) went to speak to him about this and he changed this so he does listen to his players. And I have to give him credit because he makes every player better, from the subs to the starters almost every player is enthusiastic about him footballwise.
And for me that is the most important thing, he is also imperturbable in his work. He does not care what happens at the administrative level. He is only concerned about the football side of his work and that is a plus when you will work for big teams like Inter. But i'm not 100% certain about him as a coach for 1 of the big clubs in Europa although his name was mentioned at Bayern(because he worked for their youth team) when Kovac was fired.

I rate Ten Hag but i don't think he would be the right coach for us. It may sound exciting to hire a Cruyffista but i fear Dutch style doesn't suit Italy. I would even have doubts about Guardiola, even if we could afford both his salary and his expensive "tastes", as i have always thought he would struggle in Italy.

Tactical he is one of the best there is imo. He's lacking man-management but yeah agree with Man Utd would be a ''safer'' choice.

As you can see I'm very good at the delusion of the day in football. :yao:

All jokes aside: He will still have problems with his man-management I'm sure although he became better at it. He really developed himself on every thing with comes with being a manager.

Didn't realize that Ajax have conceded 5(!) goals in the league. And they haven't even been top for all of the season. Unbelievable stat.

(Not saying bring him here, just wanted to mention this)

Yeah they scored 107 goals in the league/cup + CL and only conceded 10 goals in total. Amazing stat and hopefully they can keep it up.

I think Juric is destined for good things. He’s a good manager IMO. I’d like to see him take on a slightly bigger side than Torino though. Clubs like Roma, Lazio or Fiorentina would be a step up and good challenge for him. Verona and now the Granata have barely given him anything to work with in the transfer markets.
