Brozo is a tank, he needs to start. Mkhi is who you bring on the field if you're looking for a goal. But that's also a good reason to start him.

I think Brozo makes sense to ensure we don't get overrun.

If he was not fit, he would not be in the uniform today. Brozo, Hakan, Barrela is a bit defensive setup. Pressing/attacking I would like to see Hakan, Miki, Barella. Let's see how Inzaghi approaches this.

Curious what starting midfield you guys would start in the final assuming our 4 starting caliber players are all fit. Basically it comes down to whether you’d plays Mkhi or Brozo. Hakan and Barella are obviously starting.

It’s tough because I really like Brozo but I think I would sit him and play Mkhi - Hakan - Barella. We missed Mkhi’s mobility today in the midfield imo. He will help us more in transition and that will be key against City.

I would prefer to start Brozovic because you know he has 120+ minutes in his legs. It would be a waste of his stamina. Mkhi is coming off an injury and likely won’t be as match fit. I think you sub Mkhi in for Barella when he runs himself into the ground and use his ability to break the lines when the game gets more scrappy.

Mkhi doesn't excel in tight zones, so it's gonna be difficult when playing against a team like ManCity. We have seen that he tends to complicate things under pressure and eventually lose the ball. That could be suicidal against a such opponent but if he's fit to play then he will most probably start ahead of Brozo.

But we need to prepare ourselves for an entire match under tension. City will bite hard in every moment. To me it's kind of stupid to sit on bench a player like Brozo, but at the same time you can't bench Hakan or Barella. Let's see what Limone will decide, there's still time ahead and many things could happen.

well, that's besides the point. IMO, Brozo is a tad slow against fast City team. But le't' see what the coach decides. Besnik wrote that miki loses the ball under the pressure. He has the highest rate of interceptions in the league. You can't give midfield to City. they will punish it in no time. And Barella should be careful not to get yellow for nothing. To me, Barella is defo starter in the midfield. Hakan, Brozo, Miki 50/50 chance for the 2 spots.

This is what I like. Onana-Bastoni-Acerbi-Darmian-Hakan-Miki-Barella-Gosens-Dumfries-Lukaku-Lautaro. For subs, Brozo, Asllani, Bellanova, Dimarco, maybe Dzeko at the end.

This is definitely the time to start Brozo and ride him. He is in fine form now. He can pass the ball through lines which we are going to need to beat City, his vertical threat is real on top of his defense and stamina. This game will also bring out his best. So I'd be very, very surprised if he doesn't start.

Also if we play City on the counter and even if we press them high we're going to need to score a couple goals on the break to beat them. So the striker pairing I'd go with is Lukaku and Martinez both of whom are also in fine form, and Brozo's presence will complement them. When Lukaku starts to flag sub him but I'd start the game with him out there the way he is playing right now. The guy is on a different level and he fits this game.

I just saw City's lineup against Brighton. Midfield and front 3 are scary. Gundogan, KDB, Silva, Foden, Haaland, Mahrez. Add an insult to an injury, Rodri, Stones and Walker at the back. And Grealish, Alvarez at the bench. If Inzaghi somehow can pull this off, he should get a statue

We have 5% in this one. And I am being pretty generous. Their second team is stronger than our first. In every aspect of a game they are miles ahead of us. Hope our players put performance of their lives and die like a tough sob.

I am getting tired of the conceding I am seeing in this thread. Yes City is a hell of a team. But this is football. Anything can and does happen.

Also Inter is a threat to any team the way they are playing right now. I think with Brozo being fully back and Lukaku being in top form in fact playing like a beast plus the quality throughout this side we are in this final. We are in this game. It is ok to dream a little bit boys. Let yourself wonder "what if."

Can you imagine what it's going to feel like if we win. What a year this would be. I am already very happy with this team right now but a Champion's League Cup... I might perish from happiness.
