Totally agree. Getting someone like Kanté means that the other midfielders can play more offensive so indeed make room for someone like Eriksen.

Btw, we are a bit at the crossroads with Brozovic. We either sell him now or we give him a big ticket. That's what he's looking for. He's 27, hitting the prime years, 2 years left of his current contract. The extension needs to be done in this season, probably at the early part rather than the second if we keep him.

I think this sale thing is somewhat related to this contractual situation too. He's going to get a raise anyway, so if we decide to extend, we need to be certain about it.

In my mind if we just can get a good price, I'd sell him. He's great but I just feel he's not a leader and falls under the pressure too easily. If we extend Brozovic, he will be here for many years, I doubt anyone is going to buy him then anymore.

Wrong. Monaco planned to offer 22M but now they are ready to offer more. Inter will agree 40M+ and will invest the money in Kante.

Monaco aren't even playing Europa League IIRC. I don't know how important that is for Brozo, but if he's anything like Perisic he'd probably refuse just because of that.

However, if he doesn't care about that, Monaco is wonderful (if you're rich) and really not that far from Milano. Brozo for Kante is a swap I'd make any day, but I doubt Monaco are going to put up any more than 30m.
