It seems that the media is mounting a scandal on Brozovic and his fellow croats

This obviously happened a few days ago and now GdS are pushing on it:

• Brozovic embarrasses Inter
• Nazi gesture and chant during celebration in Zagreb
• Midfielder and Lovren risk maxi ban
• Croatians have done this before: Neo-Nazi songs after victory over Brazil too
• Serious damage to the Nerazzurri image

I doubt there will be any sanctions. Anyone from that area: got more context?

It's dumb. And it's even more dumb when you consider they did it too 4 years ago.

And that some here don't have a problem with it or just come up with excuses is something beyond my mind ...

Broz is one of my favorites but even I’m starting to think this.

Yeah if he keeps being injured for extended times per season, he becomes a burden. It's one season so far but even last season he was out for some time, and we sucked immediately.

My point is, if he can't be relied on, we can't rely our game on what Brozovic brings to the table. Thus it makes him a liability given we use considerable amount of our resources on every year (salary king if Lukaku leaves). Let's hope this is nothing alarming.

Why not, Kessie is younger, we lack muscle in midfield and Hakan proved he can fit into Brozo position.

I think id rather Hakan play behind the strikers, meanwhile a more athletic player in midfield would be needed

TBH I personally don't think Hakan is the same as Brozovic; like Hakan had been playing well, but what he did was somewhat different.
To elaborate, Hakan is very good at transitioning from defense to counter, tearing defense and excel a lot when we are in a fast tempo, but Brozovic is better at controlling tempo and keeping possessions, nullifying pressing and move the team forward up the pitch, which you see the way we attack are very different with Brozovic or Hakan in the regista position. In short, we do more sieging with Brozovic, and this leads to more stable plays, hence maybe one of the reason we are conceding more this season, cause with Hakan we are trading quick attacks more.

Plus Brozovic is better at defensive duties as well.

Kessie is good for us, but he is more Barella role to me, but we can always change the way we play.
