Rumours suggest agreement between player & Barca, now to await formal offer to Inter (Expected to be €17-19M) which may or may not be linked to Kessie’s sale

So to be clear, we should accept a low-ball from the morons in Catalan because we know Brozovic wants to join them, but we should pay full price for Frattesi, who also wants to join us.
Never said Inter should accept the low-ball offer. I would personally reject it, as Brozovic is still a key player and has a long contract. I mean his current market value is 25M, why settle for less?

Problem is that Inter decided to cash in on him and everybody knows the state of the club`s finances. Barca know Inter want/need to sell, because they have accepted the saudi bid - which is also UNDER the current market evaluation.

Not sure why you are comparing this with the Frattesi case, where there are many realistic destinations for him + Sassuolo have been generating a positive overall balance for the past years, so they are clearly not forced to sell.

Having the player`s agreement can bring down the transfer fee, as the player can reject all other destinations. Inter have been using this tactic so don`t be surprised when other clubs are doing the same.

FFS . 18 million.

Barca is really poor these days. We should give in to their demands and help mes que un club. Only last summer they had 60, 50, 45 million deals for Raphinha, Kounde and Lewa. I feel sad for Barca. I hope they recover and be the beast team ever!

They have always worked like that. They go to the player, they promise him the world, they make him unsettled and then they're trying to force his team selling at their terms. The only difference is now they simply don't have the money to make it happen. The whole Neymar to PSG saga, which basically started the domino of the ridiculously inflated market we have now, happened because Barca couldn't accept PSG wouldn't sell Verratti under any circumstances. Qataris got pissed and went to buy the best available Barca player to "teach" them a lesson.

Don't have one.
He just didn't want to leave Inter and he would only accept Saudis if money was insane.
Yep and it's kinda sad tbh, I don't think we are pushing him hard or giving him ultimatums but just the fact we accepted the offer from saudis for almost a week now is some sort of pressure to accept, and also money is beyond ridiculous, so good for him. But i m saying it's sad coz dude was willing to probably finish his career in our shirt, and we are in the situation that we are in...

Also, that picture of him and his son at appiano that we all thought was him saying goodbye may end up being some kind of desperate attempt to say to inter look what it means to me, and you are selling me. And then perisic cryptic message from today who is probably in constant contact with him, which probably refers to zhang... Maybe i m dramatizing too much, but it really looks like that...

Despite Cules delusions it was never about Barca. He never cared about joining Barca. He just didn't want to leave Inter and he would only accept Saudis if money was insane. He just increased his requests to see how far Saudis were willing to go. It looks like they're not stopping at anything.
You are delusional. 1 guy here who just rose from his bunker after we kicked his team's ass said that Brozo and barca has an agreement.

It's exactly like that. Brozo signed an extension, by lowering his demands, 3 months before the end of his contract. He intended to retire at Inter or at least leave at the twilight of his career.

What's happening with Brozo is also a sign from ownership and management to the other players. Brozo did exactly what you would expect from a loyal player to do. And how was he treated for it? He's forced out one year later. Of course people will say club is just looking after its best interests. True. But then we also need to accept players are also allowed to look after their best interests without being called traitors. We can't have it both ways. Players have every right to take money for themselves instead of allowing Zhang to cash in on them. They owe nothing to Zhang.

There's a reason that these type of things sometimes should be kept secret.

Now the whole situation will change, for good and bad.

If he doesn't accept the 20 millions, and stays here, there's the risk of entitlement, the cocky arrogance "I stayed here fo this shit??? I could've been sleeping in millions, fuck you guys".

Also, Broz being Broz, his bad games being "worst on the field" and the good ones "omg what an engine", with practically zero in between, he will be criticized so much I believe. Every single mistake will be looked with the most evil magnifying glass "we lost fratessi and sms for this douche....omg just leave already"...

It will get to him. Idk.

Ideally all of this wouldn't have happened and he would've never been in this situation. Zero rumors about him leaving. Now with all the weight, idk.

And I really do believe since it was given a green light for a Saudi club at first and not an European club, the request came from Brozo and his agent. Because for Inter it was a shitty deal and for Broz an epic one.

So idk hater... Idk what to think.

I know that I don't want Lukaku back.

Edit: while I was writing this, people are saying goodbye Brozo...what happened?
