Another young star bites the dust. I sincerely doubt no matter how good Andreolli plays that we will ever see him in an Inter jersey again. Management went for proven talent in Chivu rather than investing the time in this talented yet unpolished youngster.

I wish him the best of luck and agree w/ those that think he would have been above and beyond surplus had he stayed. I just wished they were able to get him to a different team.

Yup, it's a shame but such is the way of Inter. Can't imagine Marco getting much time, if any, at Roma either. Even with Juan and Ferrari (2nd and 3rd CD's I believe) injured, Panucci has been playing alongside Mexes. Oh well, maybe Roma will loan him out in the January mercato.... they can do that can't they?

He is finally back from injury, and Roma got Ferrari and Juan out for injuries. He will have about a month of chance until they are back, uless Roma buys a new defender

This is a great oppurtunity, if he clicks we might sign another defender from Rome coming summer.

I feel we actually over-rated him in his Parma days, either that or he lost the plot somewhere in the middle of being injured all the time.

Andreolli may be loand out to Genoa, Chievo or Brescia today.
During a interview, he said he will not comeback to inter.
Maybe he just said it for Roma fans, since rivaly between two clubs are higher than ever. However, I don't see any talent left in this guy, and he may not make a comeback even if he wants if he stays this way.

it was quoted and i well know quote means 'you see? I'm blowing this part out of proportion' in italy, but he seems quite happy in Roma.

I don't mind losing him. Only thing that impressed me in last 3 years was his height. One game of Fatic, Bonucci and Desenclos impressed me more.

I was against giving him away for Chivu. I was scared because I felt Chivu will take away Samuel's spot. But Matrix got injured and The Wall was insurmountable. What a great transfer!
