I have a feeling he might be good against Juve because we'll probably play more counterattack

Unless we score an early goal which would force gobbi to open up and attack us, I highly doubt we'll see much of counter-attacking football. In overall they are pretty damn poor, but they are well organized defensively, which is gonna be a tough task for our offensive department.

I'm optimistic, but we need to pull one of these exceptional performances to defeat them.

No matter the situation, matches against gobbi are always difficult.

Worked hard, but I thought he had a pretty poor game overall. Too many mistakes.
Lautaro also had pretty average game, but he scored a decisive goal, so understandable he didn't get any criticism. If this match is poor for Thuram, and we compare this to poor games of Lukaku or Icardi, I think Thuram still offers something positive.

Thought he was going to be a massive mistake…… glad I was wrong

We originally wanted him as our 3rd striker with the random 40m American ahead of hiM or Lukaku haha

Glad we didn’t make a stupid choice

I don’t know why buy he’s right foot player then many times he hesitates to finish chance on right side, keeps dribbling.

I think he was bad today apart from the unrewarded penalty. He literally transformed in Sanchez the ball hugger. Constantly trying to dribble all of the RB defenders.

He was always alone and with no support. There was no one to pass to most of the time

It's impressive that he managed to keep the ball almost always.

His dribbling was instrumental in keeping us in the game but the overall performance wasn't a bit frustrating. I don't blame him though. Playing with Sanchez isn't easy lol

He's had some flashes of brilliance but I really don't think he was as impressive as he gets credit, especially how Twitter people cum over his performance last night. Still think he was decent but nowhere near that "wow" impression tbh.

People always tend to cum on dribblers. Just remember how hyped were Sterling, Pulishic, Sancho, Antony etc.

That run he had near the end of the game was incredible. I don't know when we last had a player that could do something like that.
At one point Lautaro, Sanchez and Perišić were our best close control dribblers, but Thuram overall has something more to show for it, especially since he also has great pace that helps to get out of sticky situations.

Ever since we lost Eto'o and Balotelli, we lacked a player that could be ganged on by multiple players and still come out with the ball.

Imo He is combind of Balotelli and Lukaku. his dribling and sprint is incridible. its been a long time we lack creativity in our playing he has added. hope he won't get injured and will continute his growth .

It was “wow” because he did what he was supposed to do very well.
