I agree. Now checking that goal, I don't see that much fault in Arnautovic there. The run to the side is a basic thing you do there, irregardless of what happened now. That run creates the space, creates distraction between the defence, opens up possibilities (for a pass etc). It's just a sprint, text-book thing you do. As for the rebound, yeah maybe he could have been more active, but to be honest, if Lautaro wasn't there, Arna could have got it.Arnautovic at Inter is total shit, and I have no intentions of defending his performance! I can't belive its the same guy who was in Bologna where he really looked good. While at Inter he looks like Serie B player.
But totaly disagre with that commentator about this situation. If you look at it, He is running to the middle (leaving space on the right to the Dumfries), and then slowing down, almost stoping, to not get in offside position. After Mhiky shoot, ball is bouncing to the left where are Arna who almost stoped running, and Lautaro who is running slightly, and when they sow where is ball going, its natural that Lautaro will be 1st at it, since he is much faster in every way then Arna (he is big guy an newer was quick) + he had better starting speed.
This Atletico narrative is pretty tiring. He played 45 minutes against Atletico. Even Thuram played more against them than Arna. That atletico game in cl last season should have been the final nail in the coffin for him in any ambitious club.
What narrative? The only narrative here i m talking about is that he isn't good enough, and that game was just a blatant example of that. Before that game and after he had many similar games, but the stakes weren't as big, so that's why it's fair to point that game out as a potential final straw. This Atletico narrative is pretty tiring. He played 45 minutes against Atletico. Even Thuram played more against them than Arna.
Incredible if true, but I have a feeling he'll refuse to leave.
Of course, where else can they relax and receive such a big salary?Incredible if true, but I have a feeling he'll refuse to leave.
I'm all for him leaving now. But if we don't sign anyone to replace, I don't think Inzaghi fancies that.
Oaktree has a lot of conciliation to do in the summer if they want to trim the costs fucken middle of the season when we are fighting in 3 comps.
Too late for replacement but I think everyone has understood he's completely useless even as a backupWe aren't gonna sign a replacement so he needs to stay. Otherwise we'll have three strikers. Not happening lol.
Agree. I think he'd get time in every second game.Never gonna happen but i would just recall Pio. With Correa being more injury prone than Sensi and Taremi underperforming, conditions would simply be ideal for him to get a real chance.
