I could live with letting Satriano go, he is talented but he is still very raw and he is 21 now. At 21 he is obviously far from the finished article but he’s got a long way to go before really helping Inter. He could “explode” in a few years time if given a ton of playing time in the right system but we need money now.

loan, don't sell. We are not really drowning in good young prospects.

We can't just sell every 'prospect' - I'd rather sell Esposito than Satriano.

Satriano said he has been informed by the club they want him to stay next season.
Well at least we aren't selling him. Good. He looks the most ready to become somebody soon. (Ok no, Pinamonti can become somebody now at some other club, but he would never play at Inter because Džeko and Lautaro are better)

nice, so he can waste another year of developing being our new Caicedo... They'll probably notice in January that they fucked up and loan him then.

Yeah, he will be a fifth choice probably, but that sort of thing didn't really bother pinamonti who had pretty solid last season after almost never playing season before with conte.

Either way, to play that role, it's better him than someone like destro, coz that's basically our choice, someone too young or too old.

true about Pinamonti, but we didn't have a choice, cause he was the 4th striker, while Satriano will be the 5th and have no playing time. Pinamonti also played regularly 2 seasons in Serie A before that season. Satriano needs playing time now. I'm pretty sure he'd also rather go somewhere where he would play.

When you have injury prone players like dybala and correa, dzeko who can only play maybe 50% of the season on certain level, I think he will have a playing time.

Now, will inzaghi trust him to actually play him when others aren't totally fit, that's another issue.

There are Caicedo or better option than waste of Satriano potential. I hope his agent asking he to go somewhere else. Especially when Torino and Empoli need new striker.

I am pretty sure Inzaghi would play Dzeko even if the guy doesnt score a goal in 30 consecutive games.

If we cant get the 5th striker, just leave Alexis, cause we aint saving shit with his release anyway.

In theory even Esposito staying would make more sense to me. Our two injury prone strikers are both support strikers, so having depth there makes more sense. Knock on wood but Lukaku and Martinez have solid track records with injuries.

Sadly no rumours of Esposito staying.

Satriano should go to Empoli replace Pinamonti. I am sure he can developed quickly like Pina.
That is currently the expected scenario. He has a loan offer from them but he is currently on vacantion in Uruguay.

Regardless what he decides, it will not impact the Asllani deal.

EDIT: Empoli will be picking up Destro on a free transfer, so let`s see how this will influence Satriano`s decision.

He is officially on loan to Empoli.

As part of the negotiations to bring Asllani to the Nerazzurri, Inter agreed with Empoli to transfer Satriano, fresh from his adventure at Brest, to Tuscany.
Now it's official too SALE - FC Internazionale Milano announces the sale of Martín Satriano to Empoli: the 2001-born striker moves to the Tuscan club on a temporary basis.

Great place to loan him to. He could definitely do better than Pinamonti did there, but that's all up to him.
