You can see that he is not making runs forward purposefully. Hopefully soon enough he becomes very comfortable on the team and Strama allows him a little more space, you can tell because the second he makes a pass he starts to back pedal, nice though because it seems that he is coachable.

We also see him a lot holding his arms out expecting players to move into space around him, good thing to see from him tbh. I would have loved to see him and Poli and Guarin in the midfield.

It would be nice to give him the opportunity to use his pace at least sometimes with us. As for the AM vs regista argument - the one AM we have is Alvarez and he plays on the wing. The only reason there is an argument is because Kovacic probably suited the AM position more than Guarin. Once we have an AM playing in the AM position there will be no argument. However, when we're chasing games he should be given more freedom to move forward rather than sending Cambiasso and Gargano further up the field.
