I hear that we decided not to get rid of him because we wouldn't find substitute. But why? Eriksen coming means we have 7 midfielders, plus Agoume. 6 is most likely what we think is perfect (hence 6 this season) so I don't see why selling him means we need another one. To me it's more likely that we couldn't find a club willing to pay the minimum amount we wanted for him.

I think Conte doesn't trust Valero or Sensi (to be fit and usable).

If Sky is correct, then I don't understand why we would be keeping him based on finacial principle, if we are less likely to play him and justify the the principle?

Marotta might be doing a levy here, but with Vecino, it is to a much much much much much much lesser extent

Sensi or Brozo can get injured any day. So having a player like vecino can be useful.

Ironically, for the kind of corners that Eriksen takes, Vecino is the one we need at the near post to tuck them in.

or probably he takes into account the Pintus's training. I don't criticize his heavy training approaches, as far as I know such trainings exhaust your players in the first season, but start giving its fruits the seasons afterwards.

Report goes they've fixed the disagreements with Conte if there really was any at any point.

Vecino - like a new signing.

Cannot understand this Vecino hate. If somebody ever expected that Vecino was world class midfielder - then maybe. I think nobody at the club did so atleast and Vecino has hardly ever disappointed. If anything, he has exceeded the expectations by stepping up in very critical matches through out his Inter career.

Loan Gagliardini or send Valero somewhere, but remember that Vecino can be vital when it is second half of the last match in the season.

but if he sold vecino, we would replace him. that's the whole point of selling him. yes, there's also a not so good relationship with the coach maybe, but the issue here is that conte just doesn't have any use for him.

I'd hang onto him if we could get rid of Gagliardini instead. Otherwise, it has got to be 20m.

I can't stand him and i want him gone but i have to admit this was another positive performance after the match against Napoli. Keep it up.

I believe many people here hate him because the way he looks or something like that. IMO Vecino has been great for Inter as rotation player. He has that ability to go forward and towards the goal that few have. Also he can score important goals and give important assist. I would only let him go if there is really good offer. Inter will have injuries in midfield positions and Vecino is the only one behind Brozo, Barella and Sensi who can step up and play a good game.

The two matches he missed Inter suffered. I don’t like Vecino but keeping him is a wise move from Marotta.

I don't know about him being a beast. He was crap in the first half, average-to-okay in the second. The only reason I'd hold on to him for now is we need him for rotation. In the summer he needs to go.

I believe many people here hate him because the way he looks or something like that.
If his skills matched his looks, he'd be a much better footballer.
