Funny, because Gagliardini also has his ‘Lampard’ moments where he’s inexplicably by himself in the opponent’s box, but he always fails the finish. If we could fuse Vecino and Gagliardini together we might have actually have a somewhat capable midfielder.

Better than the two footballing nightmares we currently have.

Every time Vecino scores a nice goal and looks useful going forward, I start thinking I prefer him to Gagliardini, because he carries that goal threat and attacking directness. Then he has an absolute shit of a game where he passes the ball directly out and looks like a drunk horse out on the pitch, see Lazio. Every time I think "Gagliardini's been solid, I think I prefer him to Vecino" he goes and has a game like did vs Bologna.

As far as I'm concerned we need a new first backup mid then throw Gag and Vec in a blender and see what comes out. They might die horribly, but it's a risk I'm willing to take.

Yeah to be fair, we might end up with with a slower Vecino who also can’t finish.

Only if they perform the fusion dance incorrectly

If he can score more goals, we should be able to sell him for around 35-40m.

I don't see that happening. Also he is useful as a sub for specific situations. Of course if someone wants to pay 30m€ for him, we might want to cash in to net some profit.

He was invisible tonight, which is a compliment given how poor he has been lately

Ever watch Truman Show with Jim Carrey

Vecino reminds me of one of the actors who repeat the same pattern every day, to and from, with no change or conflict. He jogs that same fuckin square on the right side of our own half, until he fuckin bee-lines it straight to oppents goal when we gain possession.

If you havent seen Truman Show, then the closest comparison would be one of those idiot robots on Westworld that die every day but keep fucking coming back to life.

He didn't turn to shit, he has never been good really.
Can't dribble, can't pass, can't defend, doesn't win aerial balls.
This guy is a fraud, and the simple fact that he always started under Spalletti show how much of a clown that coach is.

Tired of writing new sh*t about him while he never does anything new, I'll just quote myself from now on.

That's what he is tho. Bench option #1 is injured and so are two of our starters.

Not good enough to warm bench imo. He is good to be a regular starter in a team like Brescia.

No one wants him thats why he's here. If you're up Marotta's ass for not selling him this summer, then just watch him play and you'll have an answer. Same goes with gagliardini, they are no club's solution or priority.

Vecino has no fault that Inter payed his release clause, he is simply dumb. He gives away posession almost every time, how many mistakes do we have to see until he gets shipped off?

Still, I don`t blame him for not qualifying further. I would rather blame the management for loaning out Nainggolan for free, who happens to play the season of his life, while we have to constantly watch Vecino fuck up play. :wallbang2:

Damn we must sell this guy, even Jonathan was wanted by someone. (Btw now that I mentioned it I can't believe we actually had Jonathan as a starter just 4 years ago).

No one wanted to spend a penny Jonathan. Parma loaned him for free for some months, sent him back and we released him.
