Hope he gets playing time we renew on lower wages then trade him for someone else.

losing him for free would be stupid. Dudes a starter for Uruguay.

again decent game this weekend almost had 2 goals. Solid bench option just not for his wages. Takes a decent amount of less wages and def keep him.

no way he makes half this money if he goes to a mid table team where he would start.

List of midfielders with expiring contracts:

Zakaria
Kessie
Kamara
Freuler
Tolisso
Isco
S. Roberto
Grillitsch
Mkhitaryan
Witsel
etc.

Don't say I want them or not, just to point out your pool of choices are 10000, if you wanna scout.

Exactly, just lazy scouting, a quick browse through transfermarket / contracts ending would be a start or 2/3 seasons on Football Manager. I'll add to the above Elneny, Trigueros and Amartey.

I don't see why we couldn't get Strootman and Torriera for this season on a 1 year loans. We're competing across three competitions, we need quality on the bench. At this point we can't afford to drop either Barella or Brozovic for any single game.

There was rumour that PSG want to cut some cost and are ready to sell Rafinha. He could be cheap replacement of Sensi. We were linked with DVDB, so he might come on loan to replace Vidal. And Gagsi is basically the replacement of Vecino. If we need more depth, we can just keep Agoume here next season.
Why on earth would you get one broken player to replace another.

With the current salary and after this season, Vecino's cost to the club annually would be 5m€. If we can find cheaper or same cost player who's better than him, by all means we should sign that guy. Maybe some free agent from abroad so we can use Growth Decree.
I thought the growth decree was ended?

Wasn't there even some (ridiculous) talk about having to pay back the taxes saved?

Considering the financial problems Inter has. A player like this with this kind of salary being the 5 or 6th option for midfield is way too expensive, for half of the money we can get someone equal or better.

Rafinha is useable at least, with his quality and personality, to the point where he would make a difference for us. Almost 2 years and Sensi has been about as useful as a glass hammer.

If we renew this donkey, I don't want to hear anything about having our hands tied due to finances ever again. You can do many things to try and survive when you're short of money, renewing your useless injury prone midfielder that, on top of that, has a huge salary for what he brings to the team, is not of them.

It doesn't have to be a literal replacement, we don't have to replace a glass player with another glass one. 😜

Since his move to PSG I don't remember him being often injured? He had the Corona Virus last season and in the pre-season a little knee injury which took him out 10 days.

I would love him back especially when Vecino wants a contract extension of 3 f*ckin years.

You forget that we renewed useless trash like D'Ambrosio and fucking KOLAROV, and actively tried to renew Ashley Young as well. I'm honestly so grateful to him for rejecting our contract offer in favor of returning to Aston Villa. Thank you, Ashley, for having sense and decency, when we had none.

Vecino will almost certainly renew. Why? Because it's the cheapest possible option. We can't afford to buy players for shit, and while signing free agents has always been notoriously expensive, recently it's become a outright farce. Despite the fact we are already paying simply obscene salaries for the likes of Sanchez, Vidal, Dzeko and Calhanoglu, management will not want to add further big salaries to the wage bill.

Simply put: a yearly gross amount of €4-5m on Vecino's salary is smaller than a transfer fee (plus wages of course) for a new player, and also smaller than the big wages that a free agent will demand.

You guys need to remember, if Vecino renews he will not sign a one-year contract. But THREE years. If in such a long time we still "can't afford to buy players for shit" or "free agent fees (of some millions) are expensive". Suning should gtfo NOW, together with Vecino.

Some of you might rate Vecino higher than Gags, but the fact was that there was (will be) zero offer for the Italian, we have to stick with him regardless. Extending Vecino means we have to stick with those two retards for years (notice, plural). Better to (obligatory) stick with one shit than two shits, to be the 6th option.

In the case we are that desperate for a gap-filler for one-year to sort the finance out, we can always sign good players from big clubs on dry free loan, Milan-Diaz and Fio-Odriozola type of deals. "Feeder club" whatever but at least it isn't long-lasting and no money is wasted.

This guy is improving masively. Did you see how he and Dumfries were understanding each other during Bologna game? Thats what we lacked last season with Barella and Hakimi, they just didnt clicked. Hope duo Vecino Dumfries will be crucial to elevate our game on whole new level that will help us not just winning scudetto again, it will help us to achieve big result in CL also(semifinal would be massive).

Improve ? He's gonna be 31 at the end of this season and in his whole career at Inter he hasn't had 3 good games in a row. He was anonymous against Bologna until we went 3-0 up and he scored a tap-in. Before that he has been anonymous in most of the other games he took part in and down right abysmal against Real.

Saying he is improving sounds like we are talking about a young promising new signing that we don't really know. He's been there since July 2017 at this point believing somehow we haven't seen the "Real" Vecino yet and that somehow we're going to see him this year is just a little bit too optimistic/naive imo.

Any occasion we get to boot him out, we should not hesitate, end of contract is one of those. Renew Brozo, renew Lautaro, renew Barella and De Vrij and fuori all the clowns should be our motto for this year, given how tight on money we are.

But Vecino is a special type of player, he's a late bloomer. His best years are yet to come. I think that his prime will be for 2,3 years(34years I think will be his peak) .

Has there ever been a poll who's worst Vecino or Gags?
