He is actually playing Broz's role quite well, especially with Vidal and Gag cover for him when he runs forward; also he is a good anchor in defending with his height and strength, and it also hides his shitty work rate and pressing.

Probably Inter just has been playing regista out of position all the time, but I know I know, it is just Coppa ,and it is just Empoli.

With all that said credits should go to Inzaghi more.

For a limited period of time in the first half. We play well this season because we don't lose focus, and we don't give up easily. Vecino is the kind of player that could only play well when the game is going great. I'm okay with someone who's 21 and new to Serie A. For a veteran like him, that's totally unacceptable.

There's no more player I'd rather get rid of in the midfield than Vecino.

We`ve been almost elimintated from the tournament and Vecino somehow made 2 mistakes in the same phase! First he stupidly lost the ball at the centre of the field, then he ran back but failed to defend and they scored. No wonder nobody wants to take him in January, this guy is a constant liability. Whenever he steps on the pitch, it feels like we are playing 1 man down or worse - because he always loses the ball, sabotaging our attacks.

Inter should terminate Vecino`s contract only based on his match performance against Empoli in Coppa... If Marotta can get any money for him (say from Lazio/Napoli), he is THE football God.

Damn, I forgot how expensive Vecino was. When you look the fees we paid for guys like Vecino, Kondogbia, Joao Mario, etc. we really never lacked money.
