This is probably one of the worst performance I've seen Darmian in our shirt. He did pick himself up a little bit towards the end of the second half. But everything else was horrendous. No positional awareness and zero momentum when going forward. He played more like a RCB than a RWB tonight.

He was good this season before his injury. Some players need more time to regain their form after an injury.

Funny he was linked to us for like 10 years I was really mad when we got him since it seemed like lazy scouting but he has been great and gotten the job done. He is a sub and great to have on the bench or start against mid table teams.

He is a sub and people are mad he isn’t as good as Hakimi

He was getting destroyed by Theo and Leao in first half, leaving Skriniar exposed, but he improved in second half so all in all it was a decent performance. Dumfries should be the definitive starter though.

Liked his performance today, especially his physicality fighting for possession at their end. Very nice to see. Maybe he's healed from his injury and can contribute more for the rest of the season and next season.

Perišić, Gosens, Darmian, Dumfries is actually a pretty good list for wingbacks. Let's keep it for the next two seasons except if we manage to get the right player for cheap enough

Really good debut, surprised me TBH.

He has been a great player, what he lacks in pace he makes up in different areas and i like his mentality as well, great signing, 8/10 easily.
