I liked Politano, I liked him a lot last year. Sadly he only regressed and couldn't adapt at all to what was expected of him this year. I'm sure Conte would figure out a way to work him into the squad if he was more clinical and flexible in his position.

Anyway, hope he does well in Napoli. He always struck me as a guy that wants to help the team out, as limited as his contribution actually turned out to be.

Politano hit back at Juventus bench

Matteo Politano’s agent explains his gesture during the Coppa Italia Final was aimed at ‘someone on the Juventus bench who was trying to put him off’ his Napoli penalty.

The Partenopei won the shoot-out by converting all four of their penalties last night, whereas Paulo Dybala’s was saved and Danilo blasted over the bar.
