Okay guys, whatever. No one has said it was for medical reasons, Conte has said he opposed the transfer with a technical decision but guess it was the medical reasons then. :trollol:
I don’t know are you trolling or not but still ...
“I made a technical decision for the Spinazzola-Politano transfer. That’s all I can say.”
From this sentence I understand that he wanted to swap Politano for Spinazzola because one fits in his tactics and other one doesn’t (technical decision) ...
“After that, other things happened that are not under my purview, so you’d have to ask someone else. I was asked for my opinion, I gave it, that can be listened to or not.“ - Conte
Here he’s saying that something went wrong with his medical/fitness tests. There is something that doctors can see from regular check up that coaches/directors cannot understand. We should take their opinions in consideration when such a big money is on the table.
Take Croat Janica Kostelic for example, won 5-6 Olympic gold medals, 3-4 Ski World Cups plus bunches of other things until age of 25. 2006 she won last World Cup and decided to retire at age of 25, perfectly healthy for competition, just won the World Cup.
When they asked her later she said that she was tired of trainings in pain since she had knee surgeries in her career.
Santon is similar case, never the same after injury.
Real Ronaldo
I don’t blame management, feeling bad for both players but we have to think about long term benefit of the club.
