Disappointed that they got him on such favourable terms, tbh. So untypical from PSG to let an expensive signing go like that. And they aren't even obligated to buy him and can spend money on a better striker if he flops.

Inter was all about supplying Icardi when he was here, the fact that he left is a big part of why our goalscorers are now more diverse than ever (continuing a trend that started with Lukaku), why we've now got a second striker who scores reliably double figures, etc...

his goals won us nothing because most of them was to pad his stats. in champions league got us nothing even those that he scored. so go and suck his ball all you want it is easy to score against small teams and score goals that do not matter. here there was a guy showing chart of what goals he scored and his goals were average in term of importance

At the end of the day, you need >80 points to wini the league, you get 3 points vs Juve and you get 3 points vs Salernitana. While, yes, absolutely, it was useful for Icardi to be lethal versus Juventus for Inter, it hardly takes away from the fact that Lukaku scored many vital goals. The recent post from Brehme made a really nice example where like 77% of his goals were vital goals for us.
Grinding out results consistently against smaller teams is, imho, 60-70% of winning a league. Obviously you need to beat your big rivals too, but there've been enough times where we put ourselves into real danger by fucking up against smaller teams.

a league is inevitably a majority of small teams, and maybe 5-ish big teams. Thats literally how the system works. If you beat the bottom half of the table H and A, you're already at 60 points, and you only need 25 more from a possible 54 to win the league.
are you not following. he scored against small goals while we are up already. most of times so basicly half of his goals were when we are already wining and he just padded a stats. in championsl eague he was non existant because we were not playing SMALL TEAMS
