He won't go to Real Madrid.

Real requires from their players to have decent looks and style. Even Bale is gonna get a haircut soon enough.
Just remember how Adebayor had a haircut immediately, Drenthe, Marcelo etc... he would have to get in line with his looks and off-field behaviour and that would be harder for him than to eat bench.

Might have a point about hair style.

I think Morata is more likely to go back to Real than them buying Icardi.

Argentina, Martino again ignores Icardi: not in the 24-man squad

Portieri: Romero, Guzman, Marchesin

Difensori: Zabaleta, Roncaglia, Garay, Otamendi, Rojo, Casco, Funes Mori, Demichelis

Centrocampisti: Mascherano, Biglia, Banega, Pastore, Lamela, Pereyra, Gago, Di Maria

Attaccanti: Messi, Aguero, Tevez, Higuain, Lavezzi

I wonder how Zanetti feels about Icardi being ignored in the national team. I remember Sabella used to visit Inter often and he even visited JZ when he got injured, but I don't think there is any relationship with Martino.

Well, it's not like he deserves to be there ahead of Messi, Aguero and Tevez. I think the biggest argument for his inclusion is that he offers something different from their other forwards. Although, it could also be argued that his technical shortcomings are holding him back, and that his workrate wouldn't suffice in a team which plays so many attacking players at once.

From what I remember Martino said because of the Maxi Lopez fiasco the other players don't want him in the team.

Wow he really said that? That's so morally arrogant. I feel real sorry for Icardi.

Good guy Martino, a coach who listens to his players. :eek:blivious: it's either he is a clueless coach who kisses Messi and co asses, or he is just afraid of losing his wife to Mauro.

And Maradona said something in the likes of "if it had happened at our days, we would've beat the shit out of him".
Tevez has what, a year, 2 tops? He'll get called, in time. I really want to see him in a trio with Messi & Aguero. Deadly.

Probably the same way he feels about it when he was twice dropped from world cups...

How is Icardi being ignored? Which one of Messi, Aguero, Tevez, or Higuain is he better than? I don't suppose you believe he's a winger?

Higuain has been awful for the last year or so. Definitely could make a argument for Icardi over him. Icardi clearly isn't as well rounded, but at least he scores when he is supposed to. Whereas Higuain tends to miss sitters on a regular basis nowadays

Icardi has been better than Higuain, that's pretty clear.

Augero - Icardi - Messi

That'd be a damn good attack.
