Many coaches would have done a forward for a defender there. It was the right decision. The mistake waa santon.

Icardi the only world class striker who is being snubbed by his NT and his N teammates it must hurt him more than we see. he really needs to succeed at club level guess its only appealing for him to leave for madrid if there is a real offer to beat Barca eventually Messi

I've said since the Martinez rumours that it's quite possible icardi is leaving. I heard his clause expires in June, and his sale would single handedly solve every one of our current financial issues. If we ignore personal opinions on the matter and just use accounting logic, icardi sale is the right step for the club.

Perhaps but I would caution anyone against a "sell Icardi for 100+ Euro and sign several players with that money" approach because we've not only seen that not end well before (Bale/Tottenham anyone?) but also because players like Icardi bring something that most people can't, which is the ability to be absolutely clinical at finishing goal scoring opportunities more often than not. We're not seriously going to expect a 20-year old out of Argentina to be able to fill that stead in a league as physical as Serie A right out of the gate, right? That's a recipe for disaster right there. Not fair to the club, not fair to the player. No one is going to benefit in that scenario.

If Icardi's release clause is triggered at Madrid and he accepts it, that's an oh well. Eventually a player like Icardi deserves Champions League football and if we can't provide it that's on us. But I wouldn't for one second advocate the club willingly selling him. If Icardi likes it here, wants to make it to Champions League here, at least give it one more go in 2018-'19 if we fail this year, he deserves the opportunity to see it through. If I'm sure of one thing, the dude bleeds nerazzuri. He was gutted at how we bottled that today. It had to pain him so much to see just what the hell happened once he was taken off, and I think we all felt terrible for him. He didn't deserve that. He deserves better. Hopefully Torino gets a result tomorrow and we're back on track to where winning out gets us where we want to get to. Because we're definitely not selling Icardi if we're in Champions League next year.

Yeah, but how we use the money is different to whether selling icardi is right or not. For example, if we sold handanovic for 100k we would all say it was a disaster, even if we then signed Messi for only 100k. The need to raise is separate from our ability to spend to be honest.

And yes I will admit I don't have a lot of faith in this club to spend that 100 mil well but at the same time icardi is pretty much fully amortized, we could use that to offset some losses on people such as JM and gabigol and kong, sign rafinha and cancel and reset our financial status for the next season. That in itself would be pretty powerful

Bear in mind that if we are free from financial constraints, across perisic icardi and candreva we could raise 160 or 180 mil euros and we could do quite a lot with that

Note ignores any revenue from JM gabigol Naga ranocchia etc as well so really a lot of freedom.

If he has any cojones, he'd win the Capocanoniere now that Immobile is out. He fucked up against Milan/Torino/Atalanta. If he wants any empathy from the fans, he better step the fuck up. It's 2 goals in 3 games for shared, and 3 goals in 3 games for sole winner.

Hard to do that when the coach swaps you for Eder everygame.

Many have seen the reaction of Mauro Icardi on the bench and after the game against Juventus. That reaction deeply embodies the “Interism” in him, something that was shown only by Zanetti in the last few years. Icardi has had the honor to wear it in the most important matches since he inherited from Ranocchia and on Saturday, he was not ashamed to cry in front of 80 thousand fans at the stadium as well as millions on TV.

Pure emotion that testifies the attachment of the Argentinian to the shirt of Inter. It is not a coincidence that his representatives are working on a renewal until 2022 with increased wage and release clause. Ausilio is calm as well as Inter as a club. Icardi, who in recent months has been renovating his house, does not want to leave the club until he wins something as captain.

Written by Michael  it's so easy to be have a football blog when you just have to translate rumours or make up your own bullshit. This at the end def counts as a made up thing, just writing something to ease up angry fanboys after the Juve match. Pathetic. Without a source, this is just building a false narrative until the truth comes out.

We're all caught up in the fight for the champions league spot, the rest of the Serie A world is sensing a conspiracy, and all you've done for the past month is still be hung up on your obsession with this Michael guy. Nobody gives a fuck about your beef with him. Not really sure why you've made it your life's mission to bring him down, nitpicking every single letter, punctuation, and word he says. It's not like he's the next Di Marzio. The guy just shares news about inter, who gives a fuck if he translates the entire article? In fact, I prefer it because I'm too lazy to do it.

How is that news if it's made up? I despise liars.

Can somebody find me an APRIL 2018 quote about how Icardi wants to stay at Inter until he wins something as a captain? When did he say that? Where did he say that?

Well, on 29.03.2017 in an interview with the fans on Facebook, Icardi said "i hope to stay at Inter forever".

However, football is just business nowadays and words mean nothing. Nobody will hate if he chooses to leave, he deserves to play CL, he is not guilty that everything in our club is fucking chaos.

Wont be surprised if bayern come knocking. I've sort of accepted that he may be leaving now. It might be for the best. Honestly, if it allowed us to buy Cancelo, Rafinha, a quality RW and a good striker I would take it.

I wouldn’t take anything for my captain and best player who’s arguably been my most consistent player throughtout the darkest age of inter’s history. Already in our history books as one of our top 10 scorers. He loves the team and he is a great professional. As an Inter fan I want nothing but to see this guy being successful with inter. What he has you cannot buy or teach. The only way selling him is justified is if he doesn’t want to stay.

That is not the same as I WILL ONLY LEAVE INTER AFTER I WIN SOMETHING AS INTER'S CAPTAIN

Skrinar is our best player isn't he? Icardi has games where you wouldn't know he's on the park. Skrinar hasn't had a bad game all season and has provided heroics on countless occasions.
