Was it icardi who won back the ball befor rafinhas goal?
Anothr good game by him was complaining a bit too much after the 3:0 when he did not get the ball otherwise he was very good put in the work even outside the box!

Yup, he did well to get that ball to Rafinha since he was in a tussle with the Udinese defender.

One goal away from being joint capocannoniere with Immobile.

And then the showdown for both CL (if we beat Sassuolo) & for top scorer in the last game of the season :datass:

Pretty well-taken goal. Caught the goalkeeper out, who should've done better, but it was unexpected.

He's scored for 4 games in a row now.

To be fair there are quite some interisti on this board who still dont rate him as high as they should. I mean i m not sure everybody on here would agree that maurito is the better player than Piguain. So it should not come as a surprise that he s not in a squad where the one calling the shots (messi) dislikes him.

Interisti bitching everytime and dreaming about we have our own wonderkid who blossom and become great player with our jersey over last two decade. But tons of player failed to live up the expectation, some because its our mgmt fault who run out patient sell our wonderkid too fast like Coutinho or Kovacic, some because turn out they didnt have enough skill or mentality to become success, eg Santon or Ranocchia, and the other case because our wonderkid is retarded like Balotelli. Icardi coming to Inter at such a young age, his first wage is even less than money our mgmt spent to pay for Jonathan wages. But now Icardi prove to all people Inter can also produce great player, he is living proof how someone can break every odd to become what he is now. Everyone know playing for inter isnt easy as playing for other club so much problem both internal and external also the pressure from mgmt and our crazy fans sometimes. Player like Kondogbia and Gabigol is just crumbling because they cant take a pressure eventho is just a tiny comparing with the pressure Icardi get in past year especially when some our fans join that Maxi bandwagon just to find a reason to hate on him.

Thats the irony when Inter finally producing a great talent from scratch, some people just cant stop bitching about him, wish nothing but he leaves for silly reason. As much as some of interisti didnt like him, Icardi is like a bright light in our dark ages in past 7 years and become Inter Icon for past year. Now at such a young age he already become our top 10 goalscorer, captain for past 3 year, debut goal againts Juventus and not stopping scoring againts thats bastard with 8 goal of 10 match, he and handanovic sacrificing their time to stay eventho the chances to play in Europe is small when we keep stacking our rooster with bunch of mediocre player and coach only this year we have a lil hope, what else do you need from this guy tbh? People easily wishing to sells him and say we can buy tons player to replacing him, that is total BS. We will end up like Milan, they replacing their best goalscorer with unproven youngster like Andre Silva and primavera like Cutrone, and some interisti say we will replacing Icardi with better player on his level, NO at best we will get Kalinic-esque player to replacing him, people probably want to see Quaqliarella leading our attack, thats it. Even Inter have their own story when replacing Etoo their best goalscore for FFP bullshit, and you know what we replacing him with Forlan, Zarate and Ricky Alvarez did people forgot about this nightmare already? One thing people should realized, now we didnt have any bargain as club, we sells player for peanut and other club ripping us off easily because we are too dumb and clueless on mercato. We sell 1 good player, we probably buy a bunch of mediocre player as return.

Im just glad people start realizing how important Icardi to Inter now, hope people can give more support toward our player who fight for this color.. atleast for the remaining season, lets not put too much negativity..

What? He has nearly as many goals as Vieri? Wow, apparently I have totally underestimated Icardi's production

for me he is the best young striker and h e is only getting better. We should keep him at all costs. With rafinha and brozo hitting form we can see he is not dependent on crosses all day and he can actually contribute in link up play, as I have been saying for years.

How can he be 1goal away from one hundred and 4 goals away from 110?

If anything that’s a bad thing. Nearly half our goals are scored by him; we shouldn’t be this reliant on him. Immobile has scored one goal more than iIcardi but only 34% of Lazio’s total goals.

Yeah, but is it really his fault that Karamoh, Candreva and nearly everyone from our midfield can't score when their life is on the line? It's not like they don't have chances ...

And we, Lazio and Jubentus are the only teams with two players in the top 10 of Serie-A-top-scorers ... And even Perisic had a "dry phase" for 11 or 12 games in a row.

Did I say it's his fault?

Mainly it's our management's fault. They need to go after attacking players who know how to convert a simple tap-in into a goal, not likes of Candreva. Also, Spalletti needs to work with players other than Icardi and make sure they can score if Icardi wasn't available.

Holy interista. Hernan keeping it real about Messi.

Hernan Crespo insists Mauro Icardi “has no equal inside the penalty area,” but the Inter striker is snubbed by Argentina because “he’s not friends with Leo Messi.”

Icardi is challenging for the Capocannoniere title with 28 goals in 32 Serie A appearances this season.

“If I were Inter, I’d never, ever sell Icardi. What sign would it give to the fans if their most representative, most talented player, the captain of the team, was sold?” Crespo told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I don’t know of teams who reinforce by selling their best player. If anything, it’s important to build on the top player, finding a group that can support him and let him perform to his best.

“Inside the penalty area, Icardi has no equal on a global scale. When a cross arrives, he is deadly. If you want to build moves with central passing, then Gonzalo Higuain or Sergio Aguero are more suited, but if you do like Inter with tons of crosses flung into the box, where are you going to get anyone better than Icardi?

“He has such quick thinking and then executes it, he is physically like a bull, shoots well with his right or left foot, gets almost everything in the air.

“After Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi, who are on another planet, there are many strikers challenging for the third step on that podium and I put Icardi in there.”

At the age of 25, Maurito has 109 top flight goals in 188 games, but looks set to be dropped for the 2018 World Cup squad.

“As far as I can see, it’s because he is no friend of Messi, or am I wrong? My beloved Seleccion is now built around a magic circle, understand? Icardi is not in that circle and therefore, unfortunately, won’t go to the World Cup in Russia.

“I believe this is a terrible mistake. Argentina really need a striker like him.”
