Watch us lose Bremer and still end up selling Skriniar to "finance our mercato" and find two players like Dybala and Bremer because we don't like stealing from silver platters.
I would rather lease an reliable short term player than tied to injury prone player with heavy wage. But I half agree though if we can get Dybala for 4,5 M/year then it is too good opportunity to be passed.I would agree with you if we owned Lukaku. But we don't. It's just one year loan. We chose lease over own. Club keeps losing money, we need to make 60m from sales and yet we committed to 20m for just one season of Lukaku. You can't rationalize it from a financial point of view. If Chelsea don't agree to a loan extension next summer we are going to have a big problem. It looks very shortsighted to me.
And he was right..Well almost. Skriniar is yet to be sold.No worries. The team will be set by July 1st.

I don't agree with your logic. We could have secured Dybala for less money this year than we are paying for Lukaku.Losing Dybala and Bremer was always becoming more and more likely to happen the longer it would take to get rid of Sanchez/dzeko/Corea and sell Skriniar for a proper price. Inter are paying the price for getting a finished Dzeko and a completely useless Corea last summer, if they had spent the total amount (transfer+salary) of those two on one single proper forward last summer (and used a cheap loan or youngster as 4th forward), they would be in a better spot now to have signed Dybala.
Im not quite sure why some people mention the Lukaku deal as some kinda block for any of the above though. There is absolutely no way Marotta would have signed Dybala without getting rid of Sanchez first, regardless of Lukaku. Lukaku was a sudden unique opportunity to replace useless geriatric Dzeko.
People should be happy Lukaku was signed for a year atleast, Dybala would still be a Roma player today if Lukaku hadnt joined, since Inter have failed to get rid of Sanchez/others. Getting Lukaku back for a fairly low fee, for a role thats far more needed than the one Dybala occupies was too good to let pass. Signing Dybala with the risk of not getting Sanchez/dzeko out is too risky.
Losing Bremer is sad, especially since Skriniar will likely be sold anyways and then some midtable donkey like Milenkovic will be signed.
Rough times ahead for Inter, both in attack and defense. But the midfield looks good atleast, Aslani and Mhki will be decent upgrades. Inters season will rise or fall depending on if Lautaro and Lukaku can play atleast 85% of all matches. The backup forwards are a disaster tbh, Dzeko is so finished its not even funny and Corea in all honestly is a midtable table player at best.
Tbh there were strong doubts about Dybala ever since we signed Lukaku. There were no reports linking him with Inter anymore, Marotta said in pre season presentation Dybala was a market opportunity but at the moment attack was complete and Inzaghi said after Monaco he was happy with his forwards and we should strengthen elsewhere. In one dat we blew our whole mercato… Dybala and Bremer, who seemed to be ours to Roma and Rube… Horrific day
HahaDybala will have a release clause of 20mil to leave Roma, waiting for us to pay the 20m for him in 2025 summer.
