I think Sassuolo value Frattesi around 35 mln, but Roma will earn some % of those money, so they can be open to a player + money kind of a deal. About Scalvini, it depends of competition. If there are not many teams ready to bid, maybe it will be possible to do the same formula - player + cash.

The most important thing in this upcoming mercato besides keeping players like barella, bastoni, and maybe even all of the core that is right now considered our best eleven is to get proper substitutes for correa, gaglia and maybe even dambro who isn't as useless as the first two but who nonetheless is overstaying his welcome a bit imo.

Well yeah, of course Frattesi would have to play himself to the starting lineup. We aren't giving such guarantees to anyone. He has played only for Sassuolo (and little for Italy) so he doesn't even have credentials to demand anything.

It`s not about credentials, it`s about the upside of the player and the ceiling he could bring to the team. If you believe in him, you play him! Simple as that.
Pirlo also didn`t have credentials and we have thrown away the best italian midfielder in decades. Fucking credentials.
The best option would be selling Brozo (probably last year when we could sell him for significant money), play Frattesi-Calha-Barella with Mikhi and Asllani as substitutes. If we gonna play on 3 fronts next year, there will be enough games for all of them.

Sorry but no one walks to our starting lineup with just potential. Player needs to deliver from day one when he's starting. That's just how it goes here.

I also think we will sell one big midfielder in case we buy Frattesi. No other way, Carnevali asks way too much for him.

2- Replacing Lukaku should be priority two. (Someone with pace and dribbling)
3- Selling Correa and getting a better player to come off the bench.

In total we need 4 new signings: Two Centrebacks, Two Strikers.

A defender who can cover all three positions in the back is my preference. Nacho could be one, but we got too look around beyond just two names.

I agree about the midfield. We got to save our resources for more important reinforcements. A back up GK, or two if both Onana and Handa leave. Replacements for Skriniar and DDA, and for De Vrij if he leaves. Fabbian for Gags and two or three new forwards (if all 3 of Lukaku, Dzeko and Correa leave).

Dumfries and Gosens might depart as well, so we still have to wait and see how all the pieces move at the end of season.

Yerry Mina is free .... I love love love Yerry Mina. Just super injury prone. If we can get him on cheaper wages would be great. We actually have players who can cross. A 6'5 CB on free kicks haha maybe 10+ goals

He is kind of slow so he would have to be in the middle of our 3 man defense.

Only way I see Correa leaving is part of a player trade. I don't think he would start for Atalanta but maybe for Fratessi's team.
