I don’t think it will hurt us much, but it will hurt the league overall. Do other leagues have something similar? I’m not sure.

Its obvious that we suffer due to the bad market design for the attackers part.

Arnautovic is a 4/5th choice type of player for Inter.

Sanchez returning never made any sense. You either kept him last season or not. Bringing him back just to say that you filled a roster spot isn't ideal.

We need a 3rd striker who can complement both Lautaro and Thuram. And we've been lucky they hardly missed any games otherwise oh oh...

I don't mind the growth decree as an idea. It's like giving tax breaks or other financial support to immigrants. Stimulates the economy.

A shame it's going away, but times are tough and government has to make themselves look like they exist.

Having said that, sign a striker, you peasants.

Yeah it looks like we simply need that striker. Arnautovic is good enough for this team. Sanchez is not. He scored total of 18 goals last season at Marseille, but is it the lack of playing time as the bench striker or the system, I don't know. He cannot produce enough quality plays for the team, he tends to overcomplicate his plays too much.

Rumors don't look good on this front and everything management has said about the subject, indicates we are not going to sign a striker.

I was probably the only one on the forum, but I actually wanted Morata. I know he's become a bit of a meme with some of his misses but I actually think he's a good striker - not elite level, but definitely good enough to be that 3rd option - if anything, I'd say having Morata as a 3rd option to also be a starter when needed would be a luxury for a team like ours.

I actually think Arnautovic is fine, despite his age. Not for the biggest CL matches, but he is good enough for Serie A imo - the problem with Arnautovic is always tied to Sanchez for me. If it was Arnautovic and a younger/better option as a backup, it's good. When you put Arnautovic and Sanchez together, that's when the forward line starts to look flat.

Like it has been mentioned, Esposito/Carboni would have actually looked better than having Sanchez here. I guess we can just hope Alexis has something left in the tank.

Morata cost over double of what Arnautovic cost. Also Espo/Carboni as 4th forward wouldn't have been good for either players. Too young, too unexperienced. Let them cook. And people, don't make comparisons to Juve. They are not the same as us.

Yeah whenever a team is using youngsters better than us, it's always "they are not the same", but not our shortcomings of undervalueing our own assets?!?

No, bro. If they win Scudetto they have proved "too young too unexperience" means crap. Kids could go as high as winning a title. They are playing against the same teams in the same league.

Look what Acerbi commented after Genoa match. It was directed to the media and everyone involved in this business, expecting Inter to ride to the Scudetto with 150 points after 38 round are done. The pressure is on different level at Inter and Juve and Allegri have somehow, with the help of the media, played this game brilliantly. It's just different for Inzaghi.

And not that this, when talking about that "not the same", we don't have the same young players Juve have. We have our young players. Have anyone considered they simply might not be ready to this level and pressure?

So why do all our young players suck?

The fuck do I know. I'm just splitballing here. We've sold or loaned the best ones.

But don't people put everything on Inzaghi all the time.

I am not expecting our kids to win a Scudetto like they are doing either. That's nothing short of brilliance.

But to a lesser extent, there were granpas-favoritism which sound stupid from the beginning. Paying charity to Bologna is the worst, then Cuadrado, Sanchez, Klaassen or Gagsy last season. Claiming none of our kids (not you, but in general) better than them is blindfolded experience support bs.

We should look to Frosinone as a destination for some of our young players when it comes to loaning them out. Di Francesco is a pretty good coach when it comes to young players and Frosinone seems to play quite a few of on-loan players as long as they are good enough.

Macca leaks an interesting list of possible Inter targets. Beside known ones, there are Kiwior, Theate, Beste, Lenglet, Kalvin Phillips and especially Guirassy. Don't realize he has a cheap 17m release clause. Can't let Milan have him.

Yeah. I had brought it up pretty early in the season.

Guirassy has a 20m release clause. If you want him you have to act fast.

Most of the names are more or less expected (maybe not Kalvin Phillips so much) but i am pleasantly surprised with Beste. He's having a great season with Heidenheim and it's good they're following him. It could also be a hint they see Augusto more as lcb than lwb.
