I don't know about that. Juventus Next Gen aren't exactly impressing in Serie C but they have got good money for some of them while they have also promoted a bunch to the first team.
it's just about develloping your greatest talents in these type of teams. the other players play in their service. The results are really of minor importance.

A bunch of 22/23 year olds who don’t boss 3rd division …… that’s not great

If we had them in 2nd division that would be a bit more impressive

Analysis of the newspaper Il Giornale. Whether the thing about inzaghi nervousness is true, the general conclusion still stands. We masked a lot of things with smart low budget deals, but that can't last forever.
Inzaghi is nervous because he knows that in the event of a non-victory there would be only one culprit, him, not a company that hasn't had a real market for 3 years and that even this month is more worried about selling than buying, with the exception of kids like Palacios, not yet ready for Serie A and the Champions League.

Zero net spent at best but also highest wage bill in the league. It would be easy to massively cut our wage bill and make investments in the market but that would come at the cost of our best players. You lose some, you take something else. I don't think Inzaghi would be in favor of that alternative.

While Inter conditions are far from ideal they're also a lot better than working at other Serie A clubs. Also this nervousness is what every coach at a top club has to deal with. It can't be an excuse.

Handily Juventus’ best player this season, they don’t want to sell, and it’s winter. I reckon if this transfer happened in the summer we’d be looking between 30-40m.

You are basically saying we have money to spend, we just need to get rid of our best players. Well, that's why this situation we are in sucks ass

The whole point of the analysis imo is to point out the fact you can't go on relying on cheap free deals forever, which btw resulted in us becoming a club with the highest wage bill. You gotta mix in some investments over time as well if you want to keep a club on a certain level.

Its pretty clear we are not going to invest anything significant under oaktree unless we sell players. Asllani and Frattesi will go in the summer most likely but we have nobody else with any value. This is why I'm betting Oaktree are licking their chops at Hakan and Thuram. They know the fanbase will riot if Barella, Lauti, Dimarco, or Bastoni go. I'd bet everything on us losing one of those guys either this summer or next. It's just who we are now.

Honestly I'm not super concerned about our inability/disinterest in spending right now. The issue is going to be in a few more years when The core guys get older and either start performing to lower standards or become salebait. I really worry for the future of this club beying the next couple seasons. We're going on 5 years now with trash ownership since covid sank Suning. We are lucky most of our top players were signed before that or were added on a free and massively overachieved expectations.

I mean look at Hakan and Thuram. Those are some of the best free signings in the world over the last few years. With Hakan probably being the best. And now under Oaktree policy theres a chance neither of those signings happen. I always had felt somewhat safe with Suning because there was never questions as to whether or not they loved Inter. It's pretty clear Oaktree have no ambition with this club and are just trying to make us profitable to sell. I just have to hope they're gone within 2-3 years. Long term oaktree ownership will be suicide to the club.

It's not an excuse, it's a valid reason. We're not playing just against Serie A clubs. We're fighting for CL aswell.

All the communication from the club is how we are targeting all possible trophies. What's internally agreed is irrelevant if publicly club pushes the agenda we are here to win everything. This team is not up to that. Bench strikers, not up to it. Bench midfielders, we're in trouble when 2 of them are playing. Defence and wingbacks are in a bit better state but basically just RWB and RCB are in a good place. CCB is so and so since Acerbi is a bit of a mystery, can he play anymore?

I honest to god cannot believe that we’re not even moving to get a CCB on loan in a season where we’re going to end up playing 60+ games.
There are already rumors we're going to possibly loan Buchanan to make space for a defender.

Fairly sure Guarro already back tracked on that this morning and now the rumour is that we’d be going after someone like Zalewski ( ) if Buchanan did leave.

Just seems batshit to rely on De Vrij suddenly becoming invincible for 6 months or crossing our fingers for 37 year old Acerbi to just be okay.

He said it depends on Bisseck condition as Acerbi will be out for a while. They're trying to understand when Bisseck is gonna be back. They fear they won't be able to sign a proper long term option for defence in January and they don't want to go for a stop gap.

Far too much gambling on fitness for what is likely to be the most exhausting season in the history of this sport IMO.
