I don't know what is the plan for the defense, but we have already spent some money on Palacios and Perez. For me, we need to part ways with Acerbi, because he is in a age, where he could miss the entire season, just like Cuntdrado did. If we sell Pavard, we'll need a replacement. Or we can use Darmian and to seek a back up of Dumfries.
I saw that we are linked to Zalewski on loan. I'd definitely take him to the summer, and see if he can be a decent back up of Dimarco. Augusto could be switch as a LCB.
But, the main issue is that we have to find quality replacement of Acerbi for the next season. He should be experienced player, not someone like Scalvini imo.

With De Vrij here i don't see the necessity to bring an experienced player. Of course we can't sign another Palacios but a younger cb who has proven himself at a smaller club in a competitive league should be the way to go.

I am not in favor of Scalvini. He's suited for rcb and he simply isn't worth the money. Like i have said in the past, if we go for an Atalanta cb it should be Hien.

Monitoring? Haha what a joke. We know how this will end.
No we don't know.

Through-out the years we brought many young(ish) players that actually had a good career here or elsewhere - Coutinho, Kovačić, Skriniar, Brozović, Icardi or even players that were kinda established already like Hakimi, Perišić, Lukaku, Eriksen, Mkhitaryan. I trust our management to recognize talent, even if they fucked up a few times. And I trust them to try to go for these players.

Just because we missed on Openda, Tonali, Ricci, Bremer and a few other players we wanted here, that doesn't mean we never manage to get any of them.

We do not know how this will end. Your pessimism is unfounded.

I would love Mario Gila as a Acerbi replacement. That guy seems class. We where rumoured to him a couple aof weeks ago if I’m not mistaken. Won’t come cheap tho.

I am waiting for Calafiori to come back home.

Yet we seem to struggle to bring in anyone in as a CCB.

Potentially could be easier moving Bastoni and replacing his position? But we need someone soon.

It's just a list of names we already read rumours about. Doesn't mean it's true or it doesn't mean we'll go for them at all.

Sučić transfer was worked on for weeks before it was ever rumoured to be happening.

Famous agent Federico Pastorello confirmed Inter Milan ‘wanted’ to land Vitor Reis before Manchester City stepped in

In interview with Radio Sportiva via FCInterNews, Pastorello discussed the Brazilian’s departure from Palmeiras:
“I have to be honest, Inter tried,” Pastorello admitted. “They rated him highly and considered him a player worth going after.

“But once the Premier League giants got involved, the numbers skyrocketed.

“And in Italy, we don’t spend that kind of money on a 2006-born player, even if in three years he will be worth three times as much.”
City went on to pay €37M for this 19 years old kid.

Just so you know.

Club who has 0 to spend and dreams about trebles 😍😍😍Marotta is a miracle worker tbh

And next year we need to think about replacing Mkhitaryan, Acerbi, Arnautovic and Correa. For sure we can't get the replacements with 0 euro. Won't be surprised if Milan and Juve are catching up next year.

We'll have money from Frattesi sale if he's even worth anything after he continues to play like shit the second he steps on the pitch. I also doubt that if we get 40 for him we'll be allowed to spend that. Maybe 20. Fucking clown ownership.

At some point the management should reflect on their decision to leave the coach a cracked roster where 1/3 of the personnel should be recycled for newer models.

I don't think head management cares about it. They don't seem to have an idea how football strategies work and Marotta has his hands tied. Doesn't look promising, unless Oaktree decides to get the fuck off sooner than later.

I mean, things could get even worse. Think of selling Barella or Bastoni and replacing them with Matteo Ruggeri and Giovanni Fabbian.
