I have no issue with Maicon, Samuel, Zanetti, Cambi, Milito or any other Argie or Brazilian. I have an issue with us starting inferior players because of what they once did over 2 years ago when they were way younger.

If Milito isn't scoring than start Palacio over him and Cou/Alvarez/Guarin where Palacio goes. Cambi shouldn't start nor should Samuel unless our defense is honestly as bad as I think it is.

No one player is above the club and I am tired of reading many of you thinking Zanetti, Stank or w/e else is.

Wouldn't blame you really, perhaps you have not watched football long enough to see that Zanetti is a more complete RB than Maicon. Maicon is probably better in attacking point of view but other than that Zanetti is better than Maicon. Zanetti is a RB who knows when to attack at the right time and defend responsibly. Zanetti recovers very fast when he lost the ball and dribbles when necessary. There is a reason why Zanetti had his position undisputed for 8-9 years until he had to sacrifice himself in 2006 for this club when Maicon arrived and we were lack of midfielder.

It is not a matter of Zanetti must play, but he is simply a better player than Maicon. Why did we think Maicon is better than Zanetti? Because we only had Maicon as our main attacking force in the last few years as we were lack in creativity with having no trequartista.

I understand both views, and I even admire Strama having balls, when he dropped Zanetti from first squad. We all know Zanetti will soon fade in quality, but we can never be sure about Maicon. Sometimes he's really one of the best RB, or let's rather say RWB....but other times he's slow and sloppy, like my dick.

Hoping that Pereira comes, our incoming signings should be done I believe. We are a large enough squad and it is only becoming bigger. A lot of activity next week will be for outgoing players, whether loan or sell or termination. I think below are the players that should be going out.

Defenders
Current roster - Maicon, JZ, Jonathan, Nagatomo, MBaye, Chivu, Samuel, Silvestre, Ranocchia, *Pereira*, Jesus
11 is too high a number
Maicon should definitely leave
Jonathan too should be sold/loaned
Jesus too can be loaned out to get some experience.
JZ/Naga for RB; Pereira/MBaye for LB is enough.

Midfield (DM/CM)
Current roster - Cambiasso, Stankovic, Obi, Guarin, Gargano, Mudingayi, Duncan
Sell Stankovic. Duncan can be loaned to get experience; but he might be needed if we keep 4321 as primary formation.

Attackers
Alvarez, Coutinho, Palacio, Sneijder, Milito, Longo, Cassano, Livaja
Longo should be loaned out. Unless we plan to buy another attacker, none of these should leave.

Primarily, we need to offload some defenders and others are mainly set.

You guys forgot Chivu needs to be kicked out too. We have a ton of Defenders but really other than Zanetti and Periera which one is worth having and we can really count on? our current CBs don't really inspire much confidence in me that we won't get flooded with goals again this season

the only thing our CB right now are capable is keeping opponents onside... we dont have any speedy CB and it will hurt us i'm afraid...
