As we can see in formation table, we really need to cover Left wing and Right Central Midfield position. Obi and Mudi are good but they just too injury prone.

This table is just an assumption, we all know how versatile our player is.

We are missing an impact player, but we don't really have the means to acquire a top level player. Considering what last season did to us, I'm ok with what has happened so far. Considering the improvements made by the teams above us, I'm upset.

If Nianggolan would sign and/or Isla I'd say we have a great Mercato
If just Eto'o comes, I'd say we had a good mercato but still lack midfield players
If no one would come, well I'd be decent. We increased our attack and defense. And we can only hope Taïder will boss for us

At the moment I would be more upset if we wouldn't be able to get rid of some running catastrophes like Chivu, Pereira, Schelotto, Mariga or Kuz.

And when we keep all of them it would be a 9 on the apahllo scale.

what can we actually buy with 9th place and no money ?? this is already somethning compared to last year.. isnt it better to get rid of shitlotto, chivu, cambi and other cock suckers, than spend more money on an average player and do nothing... but if we get rid of those players we can actually save some money for next summer, and i do belive we can aim for 3-5 spot... than will be a bit easier to attract good players..

Taider looks a bit more lightweight than expected. No doubt he can put in a tackle but to trust a 21 year old in front of the defense is always risky, no matte the talent level. I think we could still use a player like Fernando. We can also use another wingback but if one doesn't come I don't think we have any reason to not be generally optimistic about this season.

I think with our current midfield we will be fluid and beat a lot of the weaker teams easily. However when we have to face a Napoli or Juventus with a Guarin - Taider - Kovacic midfield we will struggle.

It's true I do trust Kovacic but he's also going to be playing in a higher position. And when he did play as the man in front of defense we usually had Cambiasso and Gargano ahead of him. In the line up I stated Taider will be the only adept tackler.

Don't get me wrong a midfield without a DM can work. It just takes a lot of work and maybe not a midfield where 2 players are u21.
