Sell: Vidic, Rano, Naga, Dodo, Guarin.

Buy: Bossing Central Midfielder. If motherfuckers could spend 19 millions on Hernanes in a shitty Inter team, lets see what will they do for a scudetto winning side.

Summer sales: Palacio, Medel.

Last month I would have agreed with you, and also added a goal scoring winger to the "must buy" list. But with the emergence of Brozovic, and the fact that Ljajic and Biabiany are delivering decent performances, we don't need to buy anyone this winter. It sounds crazy, I haven't said something like this in ages... but we don't NEED to buy. Instead we can focus on getting rid of some deadweight. The current squad looks complete enough to achieve top 3 without the distractions of European football.

If a good opportunity presents itself, or if we sell any key player because of a crazy offer, then sure we can buy a player next month. But we have the advantage now to be able to wait for the right opportunity... We can save up our budget and patiently plan for quality upgrades next summer.

This season Ausilio has brought in 4 contributing defenders, 2 MFs, 3 wingers, and JoJo. The amazing thing is that they are producing results with so many new players getting acclimated to each other. It takes times to weed out the high salaried non-contributors and other riff raff. Be impatient if you want, but you couldn't hope for somebody to do a better job.

What would your personal choices be when you say "quality upgrades next summer"? And why do them all in the summer?

I dont see Bro as a starting material, but thats just me probably, not that he is not starting material, but his goals are hyping him so much, when in reality he is just better than Guarin and i know he is young and all that, but id rather have him as a sub to a better player than as a starter ahead of Guarin. also I know its very unrealistic to sell Medel this winter, but we sure as hell can sell Guaro, thats why i said a bossing central midfielder.

I really think we need that type of player, someone constantly moving in midfield, with great passing and ball control, great creativity, solid in defense, and most of all someone with experience...

Bro is 23, which is young but not THAT young, and i simply cant see him being the leader in our midfield, Ljajic is way too attacking player to cover that role, Kdog is not that type of player, or maybe it is, i have no clue, thats why i want to see more often Melo, Kdog and Bro.

We need one great CM and scudetto is ours.

We already have Brozovic and Kondogbia for CM. If anything we need to look for a proper DM for next season if we're to make it to UCL.

We've got like 2,5 proper mfs at the moment. We need some more quality there without a doubt, esp if we want to challenge on multiple fronts. So someone in Guarins place at least is a must.

We barely have any creativity in our midfield guys. A new CM is a must come the summer window if we have any plans to score a goal with at least 4 passes of buildup. Pretty sure that's necessary to build a team that can challenge for titles, and isn't completely reliant on the forwards to shit out goals from nowhere. bro isnt good enough to be our regista.

We need a guy like Verratti, Baselli, Pizarro or Valero (not saying these ones but with this typology) that dictates tempo and can play between Kondogbia and Brozovic.

But like I said before, we are talking about Mancini. He will rarely play a midfield trio of a regista and 2 box to box midfielders (unless it's Frosinone or Carpi). It is not in his DNA. He will always need a pure DM, so if we are going to stick with Mancio in long term, then a regista midfielder will find it hard here to get in the starting lineup constantly.

When you play 3/4 forwards 'relying' on them isn't as big an issue. Last year when we 'relied' on Icardi to finish his 1 or 2 chances a game then that would be valid.

thats not what im talking about. the fact we had no other goalscoring threats and we couldnt create enough chances were bigger issues last season but that has jack with whether or not we still have issues. completely relying on your forwards to score all our goals wont keep us consistent. we're usually playing icardi/jojo, jojo/ljajic, and perisic/palacio so its down to 2, often 1 player to create everything for us individually (perisic, palacio, and icardi don't have the flair to create enough chances). that makes us predictable and reliant on ljajic and jojo's form/focus.

At the start of the year we all thought that we were 100% reliant on Jovetic and yet that's been shown to be untrue. I'm happy with the fact that Icardi, Jovetic, Brozovic, Biabiany, Ljajic and Palacio can all be relied on to score/assist over 5 goals this season.

that really isnt untrue though. if you think we can be successful without a regista then i dont know what to say. we can consistently challenge for trophies without creating lots of chances? biabiany, palacio, icardi dont create many goalscoing situations in the box because they dont have flair so we're very reliant on jovetic and ljajic (who has a long historyof being inconsistent). we're basically relying on those two to individually create the vast majority of the 60-70 we need to score every year, is that a formula to be consistent? relying on individual brilliance = relying on your mental focus and confidence/form of a few of your strikers. that isnt something that stays constant over an entire season.

Yes but thing is that when we play 4 forwards (say Ljajic, JoJo, Perisic and Icardi) our double pivot doesn't hold the attacks very well, and we depend a lot on individual skills from Miranda Murillo Medel or Handa. Which are great btw but it's a risky move. When we played a 4-2-3-1 against Frosinone and Udinese (IIRC), we suffered a lot of dangerous attack (with Udinese much more) and we had to rely a lot on individual skills from our defenders.

I think we underestimate the 'pull something out of their ass factor' of other teams. It seems we all have this notion that every other team in the league only score goals because of their well-drilled attacking movement, which isn't true. We write off all our goals to individuals.

We need to change most of our loan signings into permanent ones before we talk about making new signings.

who gives a fuck about every other team in the league? we're talking about title/top3 challengers here, they are our rivals so they are the only eams that are relevant. true, juve, napoli, and roma sometimes depend on thier individuals to bail them out but the difference is that they dont always rely on that like we do. grinding all of our games and hoping our forwards are focused enough to finish the 1-2 real chances they get and shit those chances out of their ass with no support on a consistent basis. if we want to build consistency, we need to start trying to control matches by relying on things like technical quality and tactical balance that will be more constant than mental focus and form.
