Wrong.

A top3 RB in spanish league right now.

How come he is in top 3, while the stat speak differently.
I'm just gonna speak about the successful pass percentage here.

1. Sergi Roberto - Barca - 90.7% - 24 Apps - 2231 Minutes
https://www.whoscored.com/Players/90782/Show/Sergi-Roberto

2. Daniel Carvajal - RM - 84.9% - 25 Apps - 2223 Minutes
https://www.whoscored.com/Players/106883/Show/Daniel-Carvajal

3. Martin Montoya - Valencia - 79.3% - 24 Apps - 2152 Minutes
https://www.whoscored.com/Players/91387/Show/Martín-Montoya
Yes, this is the same Montoya that failed miserably here.

While Vrsaljko - 76.8% - 19 Apps - 1697 Minutes
https://www.whoscored.com/Players/77059/Show/Sime-Vrsaljko

Based on this statistic, how come he is being a top 3??

Could we for the love of god stop pursuing and overpaying for random South Americans?

How does successful pass % determine the ranking of right back?

Judging by Atletico's playing style in comparison to Barcelona, isn't it inevitable that most players under the influence of the Catalan football style would have a higher passing percentage than most players in the league?

But how does that even entail anything about a right back?

Is this the new Medel joke I am not aware of?

Laudisa (GdS) - Inter can't be stopped anymore. Sprint for Carvalho, a step away from Malcom and hands on Militao from Sao Paulo.

Laudisa knows shit.

No?

Actual defending? Tackling, Marking, Positioning?
Mental attributes? Work rate?
Physical attributes? Stamina?

It's more of a linear combination of several things than to just look at passing and crossing. By that definition, David Beckham would probably be the best full back in the history of football.

Agreed. No idea why you would rank a player, a fullback no less, by passing completion.

Didn't you feel that 84.1% from Cancelo on our performance?

Passing completion in itself doesn't paint a full picture dude. It's not how many passes he completed, its the nature of those passes - who and when and how he passed, and the overall impact of these passes on our game. Did those passes create chances or attacking momentum? Or did those passes just recycle possession? I don't give a fuck if a player has 99.9% passing accuracy if those passes are backwards to his center back. Cancelo's passing completion rate is nice, but doesn't impress me nearly as much as other aspects of his game such as his dribbling, crossing, set-piece taking and overall attacking sense. Likewise, D'Ambrosio is only 2% lower than him, but like you said yourself, you can feel and see the difference between them. The difference you're feeling is not that 2% in passing completion, it's how differently the players pass.

Why is Atlético so seemingly willing to let go of Vrsaljko? Who would they replace him with? That’s who we need to buy, they seem to scout really well over the last few years

Montoya?? LOOOOOOOOOOOL
In first place, i doubt Atletico wants to get rid of Vrsaljko so easily, if a team wants the player they will ask for a high decent price. The other RB they have is Juanfran which is pretty much worst crossing and playing defense.

Djibril Sidibe. They were in talks with Monaco for him. I had read recently that Atletico were willing to offer 20m for Sidibe but Monaco are holding out for 30m.

Might as well stick to D'Ambrosio if we are about to replace Cancelo with quantity rather quality.

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/eder-militao/profil/spieler/401530

we are after this Militao kid...named Eder :yao:

anyway he is a RB but also a CB and DM so very versatile...and M.City are looking at him too
I don't know shit about him tbh

I have no problems with Dumbo, but if we can get a better RB...then let's do that...well if Pep wants that Sao Paulo kid then...he might not be bad eh.
Vrsaljko,Zappacosta,Darmian(please no)

I miss Cancelo, and he going to Rube is just sad...he would be perfect here, but fuck Valencia and their 40mil demands and fuck fuck them,I hate that club, fucking Navarro
